    I didn't originally think this would be useful, but it turns out that these methods can be very helpful. Right now I need to add the number for the car to each row in a 155 page pdf. That would take long without these features!

    Dear,
    this is quick and nice, thx for video.
    I'm using also small other technique, if you have data like video- open the filter list, click only "empty" boxes then type into [cell B3] =B2 , copy this cell and paste down :)
    Enjoy!
    All the best for you!

    Cool example> I have question regarding to this. For instance Cell B2" 25354Aimbo" Cell B3 is address of this company "Street 125" and it is repetitive for all companies. One common thing is that in each Company name is number at beginning. ..... I prefer delete this address and received the result as you have ? Please may you help me with this case ?

    thank you for the video. I have a question for Printer object and Printers object. is any Reference library required to install in the Tool->Reference before we can use Pinter and Printers object? I run below code, and get error "object is required" for line "For Each prt In Printers".
    Sub ListPrinters()
    Dim prt As Printer
    For Each prt In Printers
    Debug.Print Prt.deviceName
    Next prt
    End Sub

    Hi Jon. Great video.
    Just wonder what if one of the company name cell is blank, ( as the first method )it would be keep filling up other company's name above. I have to find other columns where has same patterns and use if function to fill down the blank cells. Any formula could help?

    Regarding the first wya: I have a list with more than 30000 rows that I need to do this on. When I have come all the way to Select blanks the response from Excel is (found no blanks) even though I see them on my screen - they are there. What can be wrong? I even selected the whole column and pasted it as values in a totally blank sheet. Still Excel does not find the blanks between. Help me out here. The trick only works when I write the "headerwords" randomly myself.

    Is there a way to un-fill-down cells? I have now a column that has an entry all the way down to forever. I don't want to delete the entries above a certain row, but would like to delete what appears to be an auto-fill entry all the way down from that row. Thanks.

    • @ExcelCampus
      @ExcelCampus  4 месяца назад

      Hi Eric! 😊 Select the first cell that you want to delete (single click, not double). Hold down both the Shift key and the Ctrl key. Then press the down arrow once. Let go of all three keys. If all of the entries you want to delete are selected, press the delete key; if not, repeat the Shift+Ctrl+Down Arrow step as many times as needed until you reach the exact end of your deletion, then press delete. If you went too far, you can hold Shift and press the Up arrow to go up one cell, or Shift+Ctrl+Up Arrow to go up an entire section. Hope this helps! 🙂

    Hi Jon,
    Could you please help me to find out blank's cells in excel, as my data contain product with picture, and we want to find out product without pictures. = ISBLANK will show all cells are empty as formula read image cells also empty.

    • @ExcelCampus
      @ExcelCampus  9 месяцев назад

      Nice question, Shamoon! Try the COUNTBLANK function to yield the number of blank cells per range. I placed a stock image in a cell (Insert > Pictures > Place in Cell > Stock Images...), and COUNTBLANK did not count that cell as empty. For counting non-blank cells, use COUNTA.
