11 Starter Tools a Home Inspector MUST Have

    In this video I go over my top 11 must have tools for new inspectors starting out, or for inspectors in general. If you're new to home inspection these tools are must haves to do a decent home inspection.

    For the drill, save yourself and get the most compact impact driver you can get with a small 2AH battery. Being small and light just makes your day easier.
    That Klein receptacle tester is great, but for that device that tests the voltage as 110 or 220, I'd recommend skipping to a DMM like the Fluke 101. It's about $50, stupidly compact and opens you up to testing other stuff in the future as your knowledge base increases.

    Can you do a video on your other tools? Also, you might check out the Samsung fold 3 phone. It folds in half, so your screen is twice as big.

    I'm new but I think I would give a hard pass on the drill. Don't want the added weight. For tape measure I was told not to use one, cause the client is going to expect you to measure everything. For typical measurements 10" and under etched those markings on my flashlight. What about a recommendation on shoes for roofs?
