In one of my games I made it as hard as I could on myself - no EXP share, no ubers/600BST pokemon and no mega. On my first try, Xerneas wiped my team without mercy before I could even catch it, and Lysandre's Gyarados destroyed half of my team before I managed to bring it down. Far more challenging than my return to Red after all these years...
Playing Black 2, I don't know whether it was because of poor team setup or the fact that I deliberately moved all the settings to "hard" mode, but the game suddenly took forever and was so difficult that I cried multiple times. Lol.
I have to say this was one of the more intense moments in the game. I felt completely inclined to stop him, and yet I agreed with him on many of his views on society. It was very troubling.

True but lest we forget that when it mega evolved, it loses it's flying type meaning instead of being 4x weak, it's 2x weak and it gets replaced with Dark.

Notice how the pose you make in a battle against a trainer with their 3D sprite shown in battle is different than usual as you verse Lysandre then it is when you fight your rival (Serena/Calem).
the team flare boss,Lysandre is so epic&his battle theme is awesome. but i honestly don't know why he even thought he could win with his mega gyarados. Gyarados had a few weaknesses,but when it mega evolved,it gained more weaknesses,so it'd probably be more vulnerable in mega form than it'd be as a regular gyarados.

CSGO mcAwesome sonic music isn't even that good for the most part lol don't remember any tracks from the original asides green hill but that's iconic as shit,doesn't mean it's good same thing applies to mario don't remember any from sonic 2 asides eggmans theme or 3/knuckles Sa1/2 and heroes admittedly had a good soundtrack don't remember any for 06 asides theme and victory music colors only had 2 memorable songs rush had like 2 good songs as well
and mold breaker is only useful for levitating pokemon so that mold breaker seems kind of pointless,and regular gyarados has intimidate,tho it'd deff be bad if mega gyarados could somehow use intimidate again after mega evolving,yet still useless due to type weaknesses

I had nothing against Gyarados but my Gogoat, however Gyarados is part flying so it’s neutral. I brought out my Blastoise to Mega Evolve & fight Water with water. Luckily, my Blastoise won!

Most people pathetically used the easy route with exp share and mega evolutions.

Don't use the Casual route of settings.
No changing pokemon when opponent changes.
No Mega Evolutions.
No Legendaries.
Exp Share is fine. :P

I just did these battles without mega evolution, Yveltal or exp share... Lord the battle gets significantly tougher without any of those elements.
