I’m in love with the VB packaging. ❤ I have three of her eyes bricks (Signature, Silk and Tweed), two Lid Lustres (Honey, Starlight), brown and black Satin Kayak liners, and two of her Bronzing Bricks (shades 1 and 2). I don’t have the lip liners since my go to liner is CT Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk and Iconic Nude. Man this makes me want to pull them out again.❤
This has been my favorite brand for the past year or two. I like her choices in formula, color, and packaging. It is pricey, so I always wait for a 20% off sale. The lip gloss was an unexpected hit! Also, everything I’ve tried from the line never seems to go off even though it’s heavily marketed as “clean” and I value longevity a lot!
I love the packaging. And her eyeliner in Sea Grey is probably my all time favorite. It’s such a flattering sparkling color to wear in the water line or inner corner.
@@catetanenbaum2418 Sure, I have greenish hazel eyes. I think Sea Gray would look good on most eye colors especially brown for contrast and gray eyes for monochrome. It’s very sparkly.
Omg I’m 2 seconds into your video but I just have to pipe in and say I do not think her brand is a cash grab at all! I have so many of her products and I DO think that 90% of what I own is completely worth it to me. The pricing is definitely up there but I WILL pay it because the products and packaging and just overall user experience are top quality ❤

Yes, the glosses! They are hands down my favorite gloss. They stay on my lips longer than any other gloss and they just feel so good. I actually love the mascara. It's the only one I've found that does not smudge on me. Even ones that swear there is no smudging smudges on me. I must be special. LOL
I own the cream blush in Playground and while it’s very pretty I agree with you on the formula: it’s stiff so it can look patchy, but on me it’s super long wearing! And the lid luster in Mink is probably one of my favorite makeup products ever. I’d like to try the lipsticks, they looked so good on you
I've got the blush in knickers and find it pretty creamy and smooth to apply. I just tested it again to remind myself. I wonder if the different colours vary in application like the fig and bordeaux liners some have mentioned... However, I don't find myself reaching for it very often and tend to go with liquid cream blush or a powder if I'm in a rush!
I adore the bitten lip tint and the mascara is my favourite, so natural and easy to remove but no smudging, ever. I thought I’d never find another mascara I loved after Clinique discontinued their holy grail naturally glossy mascara, sob. BTW I thought the tea rose lid lustre was the nicest eyeshadow I’ve ever seen you in - so pretty and made your eye colour look amazing.
Loved your review! I personnally love the Cheeky Posh Blush, especially in Miniskirt. Maybe because my skin is oily/combo, I never struggled to blend it. Also it is the most long lasting, sclupting color on me, but all experiences are different! I really enjoy the artistry and quality of the line overall, and I particularily appreciate that her releases seem very on-par with her own aesthetic. The colorways are so intentional and the releases don't feel rushed or rapid responses to tiktok trends. Curious to know if you ordered or received her new eyeshadow sticks in the bolder matte colors! Let us know your thoughts :)
I agree! The entire line matches her aesthetic, which is why it’s never felt like a cash grab to be. It feels thoughtful and intentional. I haven’t tried the matte eye bricks because I’ve heard mostly negative or just ok feedback about them.
For me, the brightening pencil is the best thing in her line! I have terrible allergies, and always look like I’ve been crying. That pencil stays put and makes such a big difference to help me look awake and alive.
I love the lid lustres but I’m a smudgy eye kind of girl. The colors, in general are really nuanced -which I love-and I think the site is mostly on target with respect to the color descriptions. The eyeshadows are “meh.” I’m a stain aficionado and I must say this is a great one-just not for the price. Finally, I’d agree-my favorite are the glosses and the lip products. One more thing: I accidentally purchased the serum as an add-on and they removed it from my order immediately …but sent me the product anyway as an apology. Nice touch!
My favorite eyeliner ever is VB "olive," which is misnamed and really a forest green. I have blue-grey eyes, and it just makes the most gorgeous smokey eye that is not black and has life. I was allergic to fig eyeliner, but I think I am allergic to all eye makeup with red carmine in it, and they refunded me, no questions.
You’re so spot on in your VB critique. Admittedly, I have not tried as many of the products as have you, but the pot shadow, the pencils, the lipgloss the stick blush - those are all items I have tried. Yes on the glosses and eye pencils. Nope on the blush stick - no emollience, and therefore difficult to blend. And while I really love the color of the mink shadow pot, the fall out, and the slightly crunchy texture is difficult to use.
I am a new subscriber and very much enjoy your reviews. VB, IMO, are viciously priced. I feel the same about Tom Ford. They just have not got the uniuqe factor and I don't see anything great about packaging. I do buy CHANEL and Guerlain... so I'm not comparing it to high street or dupes. I understand Tilbury and Eldridge-- makeup artists for years. I like by Terry also-- she invented Touche d'Eclat for YSL-- has some creds. Do you think I'm harsh on this? Thank you.

Hey Kait, loving the brand reviews on this channel. Quick question though: how do the VB satin kajal eyeliners compare to the Kulfi Beauty kajal eyeliners? Do you prefer one over the other?
Totally different in every way. Kulfi is retractable, more pigmented, and stiffer. VBB is super creamy/glidey/smudgey and is a pencil. It depends on the look I want, for a bold wing I go for Kulfi, for smudged liner I go for VBB
I don’t get any fall out with the lid lustres so that surprised me😊 Love the lip gloss and the Kajals but they do smudge on me even when I blend them out🙃 The bronzers is not really a hit shade wise - I’ve got 3 and 4 but the tones are off in my opinion. Happy with the blushes - I powder underneath and they last all day😊
You know, I have a very small highlighter collection so I can’t confidently say. But I do know there are a million cream stick highlighters that look similar merit, Nudestix, etc

Off topic - wasn't sure where to ask - that new Rephr hydration cream (black tube) I saw a short you did somewhere - did it by chance break you out?? I am thinking it's too thick for my skin and getting break outs from it!
It didn't but that doesn't mean it didn't make you break out. I applied it VERY sparingly under my eyes and on my forehead where I typically don't breakout. Usually I break out around my chin and mouth.
Agree 💯 on the Bordeaux and fig eyeliners..I find they both smudge and run down my face. Love the other shades and have repurchased. Meh on the lip tint .. too dry on my lips.
I love the shade Bordeaux in the eyeliner but it ALWAYS transfers to my eyelids and never stays put. I am not sure if anyone else has had that experience?
I bought two liners and the eye brightener but found then hard to sharpen. I’ve tried several sharpeners and wasted a lot of product. Am I doing something wrong ? 😂
Apparently I have the worst lips in the world because although I liked the feel of those lip glosses they settled hard core into my lip lines looking horrible 😢

Not right away because they aren’t super oily but they are definitely not a long wearing formula
