Agree on pulsar trail pro, go to choice in the UK but went for slab ultra 3 on UTMB, just more reliable over the terrain. Also said hi in the first mile of the UTMB race as I saw you at the side of the road but it was all very hectic! Hopefully get chance to say hi properly at another event.
Great choice Loyd, I hope your kit serves you well and you smash the race. I just bagged a £52 pair of Reebok floatride energy 4 Adventure trail shoes. A bit more Cush and more lugs than the Road version (r4adventure!)with a discount code. Not in the same league as your mountain beasts but for the money will hopefully be a great light trail shoe for me and my parkrun visit to Trelissick this weekend. Just couldn’t get on with the high arch in the hoka speedgoats and mafate with my flat plates of meat. All the best Loyd with the race and look forward to the video!

It really depends on how wide your forefoot is? I'd say the width is good in the Xodus Ultra but it's not super wide like an Altra 👍 Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel 🙏

Did you use the Harrier sizing guide to select your fixed length or have you used adjustable poles and know your size from experience?
I've always used a 125cm running pole lenght, it's just right for my height (6ft 1") 👍
Lloyd would you recommend the Exodus Ultra even if you have a wider forefoot?
It really depends on how wide your forefoot is? I'd say the width is good in the Xodus Ultra but it's not super wide like an Altra 👍
