I always loved Guy but these videos seriously prove how genuinely kind and smart he is.
Never did he seem awkward always just smiles,laughs, and eagerness to learn. Fucking legend!

Did you see the big smile on Guy's face when the bike was completed? He's a mechanic first and foremost.
The factory in Chongqing is a good example of a well-run legitimate factory. In my industry (motorcycle apparel), Made-In-China gear still carries a marketing stigma, but, I've been saying this for ages, so long as the factory in China adheres to strict quality controls, the factory will put out excellent products. Some factories in China are high-end all around.
I know right? That's why i buy stuff like knee guards and elbow guards from China. The quality ain't bad and its from a legit factory too. But best of all, it costs 1/5 of an Alpinestars or Dainese.
Unfortunately they don't know the first thing about metallurgy or motorcycle design. The Chinese made motorcycles we get in Australia are basically landfill, cheaply made disposable rubbish. One of the problems facing the Chinese motorcycle industry is there are a million companies and none of them are around for very long. If you buy a secondhand Chinese made bike it will be almost impossible to buy parts for and believe me you'll need parts. I've had cheese that's harder than the metals they make these things out of.

@Dave WA I can tell ya they were junk but yeah that bike factory is betting on cheap people. My bro just wanted something cheap to ride with his kids. It's a weird bike, all I can say is it is lacking in every category.
The factory workers are experts at their craft. The issue is when Western companies to to get stuff as cheap as humanly possible. The issue is the ridiculous pricing...not Chinese workers and factories.
I work a few months a year in China with factories.

It's a british thing. Our kid is a saying for brother. Normally means family member. Our Sally etc. It's just a play on words. He's also our guy in the field so to speak.

I lived in that city for 3 years. So nice to see him going around the places. Such an amazing city Chongqing is.

Really?!?!?!? Its a Regional Variation Accent Not a Foreign language!! Lol!! U could of turned the 'English' Auto-Generated Subtitles on i suppose if u was really finding our Guy really hard to follow although when i have tried these on videos with poor audio in the past they tend to generate words that are totally wrong as 'it/the system' also does not understand it, Lol!! So yea i guess either way u cant win so all i can suggest is that u try and Listen Better (open ur ears an mind to new things, regional accents in this case, lol) and More Intensely!! Hope this helps!! :)

Good to see Chongqing, as a Brit in China 14 years first 6 years in Chongqing, witnessed massive growth in that period, now Shanghai based .

Its great content and stuff but you can't help but feel the awkward tension with the CCP party rep following them everywhere and watching the locals talk he's making sure they don't say anything bad and he doesn't ask anything silly. So not as great as it could have been.

I worked in Shanghai and lived among the Chinese. Never had an issue with officialdom or bureaucrats,, but had a few run ins with Crooks & conmen everywhere
I was really hoping when the Bluetooth connected on the bike the voice was going to say “you’re bluetooth has connected a-sussessfully”

He seems to be an "open" human being making him an easy person to deal with and exchange ideas. He is not what they say he is, but rather how he truly stands before the world. It seems to be a very mentally malleable human being.

Aaron Durden - He’s using an oxy acetylene torch, depending on its use, it can be used for welding OR cutting
@@toddyboy563 - Don't forget about brazing. I'm well aware of what the torch is/does, my point was the sound they clearly added in and synced with the sparks flying was that of some sort of arc welder or maybe just a generic electrical short circuit.
