Ha!! I took pics of that same M-Benz at 6:32 when I was in London in January! Except I chose to include the back half of it with the pink flat as main subject shooting from across the street. I used the Q2 and it's one of my favorite images from our trip.
Good review. I got mine to do buildings and classic architecture like cathedrals. I took it to Spain recently on my X100 VI. It performed really well. Now I’m waiting for the teleconverter to complete the set up. All my gear is black to be less obvious in street work and when touring. I’m looking forward to taking the whole set up to Japan, Hong Kong and hopefully ancient Egypt next year.
I bought the X100VI because it is a good compromise between an SLR and a compact camera, from the size to the results, setting options, menu navigation and haptic setting options. Unfortunately, I find the fixed focal lengths a minus, as I like to shoot 28mm. However, for years I have only photographed point n shoot (35mm) analogue. So I'm used to it. Now I'm seriously thinking about buying this adapter, but it will make the camera even bulkier and heavier, which I actually wanted to avoid. Actually, I could have decided in favor of another Fuji camera model without a fixed focal length. Sometimes I'm unsure whether the fixed focal length disturbs me so much that I regret the purchase and then again I'm very happy with the camera. It's not so easy.
I can sympathise with this, sometimes you just want something a little bit wider! whilst the adapter does make the camera bigger, it's not noticeably heavier and it's always great to have the option to use it or not!
After my trip to Yosemite, I realized that 35mm is not enough for landscape photography. Nice shot. And I really like your color style. Can I ask what recipe you use?
Great video. Definitely considering picking one up. I also love the video quality. What camera do you use to make these video vlog shots when you’re walking through an area. Thanks!
While I'm still waiting on my x100vi (::facepalm::), I did jump on what I feel is a decently-priced WCL-X100II based, in part, on your review. I'm very much looking forward to using it. Thank you!
@@Queenslandstation Yes, it does. The x100 vi flash position is very unforgiving. I have just an adapter and a protective clear lens on mine, and even that has a flash shadow in pictures. This convertor is much longer than that setup and will leave a huge shadow.
Bought my Fujifilm X100 Dec 2011 and still my favourite gear when travelling up to now.
crazy to think a camera that old still cranks out great images!

damn, nice, hope you enjoy shooting with it! I am dying to go around Egypt and look at the ancient sites, enjoy your trip I'm sure it'll be awesome!
Finally a great review of the WCL. Thanks!
No problem! glad you enjoyed it!

Nice shots, the film sim worked well with the beach pics. i just got the TCl for my x100vi and it works great, now I'm considering the WCL.
Nice! Have to say I’m more of a ‘wider’ focal length type of guy, unless I’m shooting portraits!
Great review. Care to share the film simulation you used? Tia
thank you! it was Reggie's Portra
Can you attached the 49mm lens filters to this wide angle lens?
Yes you can!

A lot of this was Reggie's Portra, pretty awesome recipe!
@gabrielbailey802 Thank you so much!
Nice. I loved the WCL on my X100v and I was curious how it'd perform on a X100vi, and now I know. Thanks!
No problem! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! Camera for vlogging/environmental shots is the Sony ZV-E1, great little camera
awesome review!! I'm really considering the WCL now! Question, what camera are you using the vlogging portions of your review?
Thank you! I use the Sony ZV-E1 for shooting videos on the channel, it's a great little workhorse!
Cool video! Hello from Kyiv !
Thank you! Hope you’re doing well!

Nice, hope you enjoy! always worth picking one up when it's a decent price, even if it's just to try!
Does this lens conflict with the flash? Or leave a shadow?
I actually have not tested this!
Yes
@@Kids11111 It does leave a Shadow?

Put a coat or sweater on that poor girl, give her yours, buy one, she's freezing. Don't let things like that ride, fix them!
I'm sat with her right now and we're both confused as to when she was cold in this video! 🤣
Wtf i see nod
sorry?
