Today is Day Nine of wearing the Circular Ring Slim and... yes, I still love the design, look, feel, haptic logo button, and the health statistics it collects off just my index finger. All in all, yeah, I have worn, tested, worked with, slept with, worn for years, and smart rings are FAR, far, far, more comfortable to wear to bed than any smartwatch. Now, that is just my opinion after reviewing over 138 wearable gadgets since 1999.

You are... correct! I have eight smart rings right, yet three of them are broken; ergo, I am only wearing four. I did have a relapse last night and wore far, far, far too many gadgets to bed😅

I'm sorry to bother you but I have so many questions and I hope you can answer all of them...
1) First of all, thanks for doing this video since there's almost no real info or reviews about this ring
2) How many days have passed since you order it and received it?
3) Did the Circular website showed the word "pre-order" when you made the purchase?
4) Why did you get a sample version?
5) Was it free for you since you are a RUclipsr?
6) What is the "mystery word" on the Circular website where the clue is "Bark Bark"?
7) Have you noticed that the logo on the ring is inverted? (what a huge mistake)
8) Is the logo painted in white and easily removable with acetone, alcohol or something?
9) Is the logo engraved with laser?
10) Do you like the white logo being there in front of this black ring? (I think it was a terrible idea from the designers)
11) Is the sleep analysis accurate and shows all the phases?
12) Is the vibration strong enough to use it as a silent alarm?
13) Do you think this slim version is an improved version of the previous model in every way?
14) Have you found problems or issues since you started to use it?

WOW, that was a plethora of questions. From order time to arrival time was about five weeks. Yes, I like the logo. Some Bluetooth connectivity issues, but a reset fixed them. I like the metallic, matte black design, the Slim is more comfortable to wear, and the accuracy has improved. A video is launching about the Slim at 11:00 MT with more answers to your questions. Later tonight, I will give thought to your pithy comments tonight and possibly just make another video 📹 for you and others. Glad you liked 👍 my video, thank you. I am not on the French Payroll of Circular, just a lucky Beta Tester/Influencer.

Yes, it is slimmer, has a more metallic look and feel, is lighter, and stronger, and synchronizes slighter faster since the last firmware update & app update that happened during Day Seven. More videos about the Circular Slim are arriving soon...

The materials are much improved. I think since mine is a "sample" unit it may not be the same as a normal production smart ring; ergo, I don't know if the the entire ring is aluminum or what. I am eager to unbox the Circular Ring Pro next month and compare: Circular Ring Slim versus Pro...

Magnets
Yes, there is a magnet inside the Circular dongle charger, that is USB-C (HOORAY), and there are magnets inside the ring. I'll be showing that in my next Circular Slim smartring review...

Seems you are not alone by looking into Reddit and my personal experience👍 I ordered the ring summer 2022 and since then had two exchange rings which died after around 3 months. The second one stopped connecting after one of Circular's software updates. Customer service did not manage to help and "sent" my issue to a technical team one month ago👍 Buying a ring from Aliexpress or any other Chinese shop would be a much better decision: cheaper, most likely better build-quality, rest is the same👍
I haven’t seen any updates on this ring? Is it still accurate? I have an Oura but thinking either this or Helio? Which do you think ?
I would recommend... skipping Circular for the time being, sorry to write that information. You're better off with the new Helio Ring by Amazfit, or the cool Ultrahuman Ring Air. And yeah, the ŌURA Ring gen. 3 is cool, but it is three years old and the Finnish need to release their 4.0 smart-ring version soon. The Helio Ring also pairs nicely with an Amazfit smartwatch, and I truly love that functionality to wear a watch by day and just a ring at night.
Can you get it to vibrate as a separation alert if you forget your phone somewhere?
There are alerts for heart rate, bedtime, alarms. but not for tasks or for app alerts like a Tile, AirTag, nor a smartphone. That is a great idea 💡
Is the Circular logo always visible? Or does it just light up in some cases, like charging
Yes, it is a white, painted logo on the ring and always shows. I have been wearing my Circular Slim ring for nearly two full months now, and yes, the logo is still there 😁

I posted a video last month on my other channel, "The Man with Two Watches." Yeah, the Circular Ring Slim has been my favorite over the last year plus wearing four different versions of Circular Rings. I may create another video later in May, how does that sound and what questions do you have!

I've taken the Circular Ring SLIM swimming, worn it in a bath over over 15 minutes, and even tried to swim laps for about 11 minutes, but the ring was too large for any of my fingers while lap swimming. I chatted with Circular Support via Facebook Messenger and they agreed to allow me to swap rings via post. I am going to send them my "SLIM" wearable tomorrow and in about seven to 15 days I should have a replacement smaller and just right size for my left or right ring finger :) As for the performance, well... it it about the same. I didn't notice a huge jump in accuracy. Rings struggle to measure heart-rate, and other health metrics during workouts. Smart rings are great for sleep/nap tracking, but something about movement throws many of them off as of 05/2024. Battery life is STILL not what The Circular Marketing Team promised Customers back in 2021 (five to seven days of life). The most I've been able to achieve in th real world has been about 71 to 90 hours using eco mode and avoiding too many synchronizations ( about two or three synchs daily to arrive at 90 hrs of life). Does quench your thirst about wearables, eh?
I bought this shit in the "pro" version. It looks 5 months to deliver it, after 2 month of use: ring dead. I lost almost 300 euros in this crap.
I am testing the Circular Ring Slim and the Circular Ring Pro right now simultaneously and... they are not that different from each other when it comes to data or battery life. I hope, and really feel, that Circular needs to go back to the marketing promises they made in 2022 and give customers what we expected.
