I go through some basics you may not know as well as explain the information listed on their site. I will link the site down below for you to get more info. At the final bend of my process. Took in my commitment letter from NHT to the lawyer. Your videos are my guide. Gonna start rewatching the construction loan video now, cus that's where I am off to next!

Thank you 😊. Well what i know is that you contribute based on what your salary is overseas. So you can have a family member go and sort it out for you or when you come back. I know some persons have the option to pay quarterly. So you can look into that. I don't know if there is an option to pay from overseas so you can find out about that as well

If after conducting the surveyor's report and the property is breached then they'll process the loan on the condition that a lawyer will do a modification through the Supreme Court. Process ranges from 6 months to 1.6 years.

Hi. No they don't charge. It's a standard letter so it can be same day I think. But best to have them give that info

NHT says 100% financing, yet in their online application they ask if you have savings or if you would like a contribution refund to put towards the house. That makes no sense.
It's 100% financing is your salary allows. You still need to be able to afford the payments. So in the event that your salary can't cover they give you options. Hope that clears it up

Hopefully, I get some answer to this question. Can I merge my bank loan with my spouse's nht loan to purchase land. Or only 2 nht loans can be merged? Also, is it possible to have nht loan on a housing unit and another separate nht loan for another piece of land at the same time? Bearing in mind the separate loan limits that apply for each, and my ability to afford both at the same time?
Hi. Nht allows joint financing so first one would be a yes. As for the second question I don't think they give 2 loans at once to the same person. But it's best that u call them. They are usually pretty easy to get thru 2

Building can be cheaper and you get way more value for your money. It is the more stressful option though and time consuming. Also bare in mind if the work men mess up essentially that can cost you more in the long term.

The one that you are purchasing. Those will need to be paid up. The seller should take care of this

Not sure enuh. I know in some instances they pay lawyer fees depending on cost of property.

So you can’t pay up your NHT contribution ASAP in order to get a loan... for example for self employed individuals?

Yes you can pay as self employed if that's what you're asking. You have to do so though Tax Administration Jamaica. You pay online ALSO IT HAS TO BE UP TO DATE FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS. So if you missed a month even if you pay up , the 6 months start all over

Hi. Not sure actually but atleast a month i would say so that you have time to get everything together. Find surveyor and xyz

Hi. I think the best way to go about that is to have a lawyer acting on your behalf. So I would say reach out to one over here and get advise from them. U can also try a realtor. That may be able to give more info

No this is in general. The NHT developments are a little different in the sense that they use a points system. And those are 100% financing
