And I bet everyone thought it was as simple as throwing some hard core down,,any old rubble will do and get Ready Mix in with 2 or 3 metres of concrete with the odd re-bar thrown in for good measure.
You do not blind an oversite with sand,it will dry and filter downwards and the floor slab will drop,most bungalows built like this will have this problem. Weak mix sand and cement should be used for blinding.

Has the insulated infill on beam gne out of fashion? Seems all block and beam now.
