    hi. why did you do "map - lidar" and not "lidar - map" to create the error maps?

    Thanks for the informative video.
    Whether the both dems (Lidar and topgraphic) had same resolutions? If not, how can we subtract two dems of different cell sizes?

      Hi Musaib. Yes you can subtract two different resolutions.

      @@ziadabdeldayem6884 Thanks for the reply sir.
      In that case can we resample our less resolution DEM (12.5 m) to a high resolution (1m) and then subtract two Dems for evaluating the difference between them.
      P.S: I know resampling will not increase the accuracy but I just want a dem finer cell size (1m). All I am worried about is that whether resampling can change the original/ actual elevation values.

    thanks for the video, I want to assess the vertical accuracy of photogrammetry DTM using GCPs...how can I do it?

    • @ziadabdeldayem6884
      @ziadabdeldayem6884  Год назад

      You need to compare the elevation values at each point (x,y).

    Hi. If you have a dataset that contains elevation information associated in feet and you want to make a comparison with another dataset that is in meters, it is necessary to convert the data in the same units?

    • @ziadabdeldayem6884
      @ziadabdeldayem6884  Год назад

      It depends on the comparison techniques that you are going to apply.

      @@ziadabdeldayem6884 I have two DTM file. next, I want to compare both of them together. Bothe of them have only angular unit and do not have linear unit. so how can I know the cell size of them is according to what unit? meter or feet.
