Amazing. Superb. Alexandra seems to have been treated very shabbily in Hannover. The acoustic is shockingly poor, piano dreadful, audience noisy (sneezing, coughing, banging doors), piano stool sliding away from her, and she seems to be playing in a church that is ill-prepared for the occasion. If this astoundingly gifted child can cope with these conditions, she will be able to handle anything later in life. Congratulations, Alexandra! And seeing you smile is a delight for us. Thank you.
For me she is really a gift from heaven to sooth our lives, seing her smile is joyful and bring us happiness, God bless her forever!!!

Hammers and Quills.. I never thought such an a beautiful thing exists....
Sadly, the beauty and excellence of Hammers and Quills is spoiled by the fact, as noted by others below, that the acoustics are truly terrible.
Happily, however, excellent acoustics that bring out the superb radiance of her performances of the work were in evidence e.g. in her recital at Astana a couple of months earlier, when she was still only 9. (The program--without exception performed magnificently--was the same as here except for the Chopin.)

Such a superb performance! Unfortunate to have a poorly-tuned piano, poor acoustics and poor lighting, but Alexandra's brilliance shine through it all! Last high note in Etude 3 sounds like a broken tea cup! Such amazing playing at age 10!

An extraordinarily gifted young lady, no question. It's not difficult to see (and hear), however, how much pressure she is under and how tense she is. I think it's a mistake to exploit her in this manner. If I were her teacher I would forbid public performances of any kind until she is older, and more sure of herself.

She, as with all Russia’s gifted children, has been - and is - lovingly, expertly, nurtured and cared for. Musically, she is thoroughly sure of herself. As with most young children, she is shy at being the centre of attention. Your use of the phrase “I would forbid…” is strange: Do you think she organises her concerts herself? Sneaks out to play the piano in the middle of the night? Adults - who know exactly what they’re doing - are organising her concerts, and I’m sure you have already noticed in 2020 and 2021 that she has become a splendid, exceptionally fine, seemingly happy musician.

Я был рядом с ней в кулуарах БЗ Московской консерватории во время открытия 2 конкурса GPK в апреле 2018 г. Замечательная девочка. Просто супер. А вот у кого действительно непонятный взгляд, так это у Саши Малофеева (Гранд При 1 конкурса в 2016 г)
