    Thank you Olga, your material is very hopeful. I have some question abut the letter "T"
    Te is T follow by soft vowel e and by rules it should pronounce the soft style like театр, телефон. \
    But тер is always sounds like ter and т sounds hard sound to me. Would you please guide me what cause the difference.
    Thank you very much.

    They say you never really know your own language until you learn a second one. I never really thought about why in the US we say "go to the bathroom" when we mean "use the toilet" until I learned ванная & туалет. I guess in the US it is considered impolite to talk about one's bodily functions, as would be implied by saying "I have to use the toilet". Thus, we use "bathroom" or "rest room" instead. So I guess my question is: does "туалет" mean both bathroom and porcelain god as it does in English, or does it translate more like "rest room"?

    • @AmazingRussian
      @AmazingRussian  6 лет назад +3

      Jim Miller , good question. ТуалЕт = bathroom, restroom; унитАз = toilet. 🙂

    I always thought that “е” with ударение when it’s in the beginning word and the ending word will be pronounce “ye” or “yia” and in the middle word pronounce as “э”

      Я бы тебе подсказал, если бы понял что ты написал))
      В русском безударная "Е" произносится как "И" (хотя можете произносить как "Е" - ничего страшного).
      п. с. В конце слов, лично я, букву Е произношу всегда как Е))

    Я понимаю, что это всё во имя учёбы, но у меня, как у русского, ощущения будто я смотрю "Дашу Путешественницу". "Давайте вместе произнесём! т-е-а-Т-Р. Молодцы! Правильно!". Интересно, я так же выглядел, когда учился читать на других языках? Это один из вопросов, на который не хочешь знать ответ.

    Компьютер, why is it not kambyo"tir", since the e is not at the end of the word so it's supposed to be pronounced as " i "

    Why do they have Я if they already have А? The phonetica isn’t the same?

    • @Jimmy-lf9lx
      @Jimmy-lf9lx 4 года назад

      It is actually different, А is like the a in fast and Я is the ya in yard. Of course, sometimes it is also pronounced as A or even /e/ sometimes.
