Copy and paste the following in the “Go to the folder” field to go to the Final Cut Pro Sound Effects folder

Very useful info. I struggle with finding specific sound effects that I hear on other videos because I don't know what they are called. And the various subscription services may use different names. I would love to see a video on creating an essential collection of sound effects.

Hey Serge - Would you mind doing a video on how to manually remove background noise from your Audio in FCPX, if you forgot to turn ANC mode on your microphone when recording? Is there some audio settings that would help eliminate bg noise such as traffic, wind, people talking etc, but still make your own dialogue clear? Thanks!

Question Serge. Why not just use the actual folder instead of an Alias? Wouldn’t it be good to have all sounds in the same place?

So you don't have to goo through all the steps to get to the folder

Because, if you need to add more SFX to your folder, it's easier to have it in a convenient location and not have to go into your library every time
