Man, lissen. I’ve used the magbak for years and I swear by their cases “USUALLY”. Here’s MY beef: the 14 MAX (or PRO or whatever. The top big one) and the 16 pro Max classic series which I just got. They should not ever have made those two the way they did. I have the 16 pro max and I’m not using it. Why? I don’t have a decent case. It and the big top of the line 14 iPhone magbak classic cases both have the same problem, and I should’ve known something was up this go round. For the 14 series there was no “elite”. Until this go round, there was just one Magbak case. I opted not to get the elite because I hate any case ring on a phone. I don’t use it, and it looks janky. I don’t need that lil pinky pillow port cover or any port cover, the iPhones are extremely good even in water. I even have a magbak magnet in my shower at eye level, in case (get it) I want to keep watching the game or something. Water does NOTHING to these phones anymore like back in the pre iPhone 8 days. The extending magnets on the 16 pro elite cases is a cool innovation, but I mean, it seems gimmicky and redundant if it’s anything like the case I have now. It doesn’t need any help sticking to the fridge when I’m making breakfast, or the lil under-my-microwave panel when I’m at the stove, or using a MagSafe Lisen holder. It just works. And it’s extremely powerful almost to a fault. On my 11,12, 13, and 15. Or whichever ones I’ve had. Dunno if I skipped one. So to make a long story AuDHDier, I just got what usually worked for me, now called the classic. KNEW it was finna be a problem. Should’ve never done that. In the back of my mind, I wondered “why did they need to add extending magnets on one of them?” I got the case (really fast and on discount) and I put on the free screen protector (🤷🏽♂️okay. Is it 2014?) and put the case on. Snug fit and soft interior to prevent any scratches on the back of my phone while it stays in the case because I never take those off. Side by side, I looked: DAMMIT! The camera bump on the 15 Pro Max is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the 16 in the case. Bad sign. Went to the stainless steel fridge. 15 stayed put, 16 slid straight down. Only part of the magnet made contact. Now, it’s not magbak’s fault. Clearly Apple made bigger cam bumps on the 14 & 16. That’s on Apple, not them. But then why not just make the “elite” the damn Magbak Case if the classic is unusable for a case that’s from a company with literally only two words in its corporate dba name: “Mag” and “Bak”? The classic has bad iterations of “magnets” on the “bak”. The phone ITSELF already has magnets on the back, we want this to be STRONGER MAGnets on its BACK. So to drop the classic to unsuspecting buyers and return customers feels “hella sus” and the millennials would say. Or to sound inappropriately old: the classic is “Skibidi Ohio” or whatever the Trisomy generation now says. Then charge like 80 bucks for the elite which is legit the ONLY ONE that actually WORKS??!? Now I gotta wait for THAT to show up, and magbak gonna text me like they have to “investigate” my return clai-“YOU KNOW THIS CASE HAD GY🤬TDAYUM MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY WHEN YA SOLD IT TO ME! CHU MEAN YOU GOT TO “investigate”??!?
Yeah I just received my case today from magbak. Unboxing experience was completely ruined. They sold me a returned case. Opened the bubble envelope and noticed the elite case and all the stuff that's supposed to be inside a black plastic box was outside in a clear bag with the black plastic box. Then when I opened the black box that contained a screen protector, the pegs that's supposed to hold the screen protector for alignment were broken. Only half my order was shipped to me with no notification from them that the accessories will come later. No communication. So not only do I pay for a brand new case and receive a used one, stuff that I paid for is useless. Good thing these RUclips influencers got their free case and accessories at the same time to promote their product. Is peasants that pay will have to wait until RUclips is fulfilled. So disappointed and angry at this company. Also their answers to all of this is to send me a screen protector and now I have to manually aligned the screen protector myself. Also tried telling me it was USPS that damaged everything when the envelope wasn’t even damaged. The black plastic box didn’t even have exterior damaged. This is a trash company that’s refusing to admit they sold me a used product.

I returned the classic magbak last for for my iPhone15 pro max for the Rokform solely because of magnet strength. Rokform is super strong and will stick to a golf cart without moving even on bumps. Wonder how this one compares
Yeah totally understand, magbak classic did not perform well this year due to the bigger canera bump as seen in the video. Rokform is still strongest though, but the elite case is very good too
The magnet in the classic is terrible where it used to be fantastic. I feel like I wasted my $55 on it and even though the magnet is good in the elite case, I would not buy another one because it's not worth $79. I think I would buy the rock for instead.
The point about the screen protector lip is good to know. However, the retail version of the Elite ships with a screen protector so it shouldn’t be an issue for most people. Additionally, the stock screen protector helps justify the $79 price point.
Yeah, with all the paid influencer promotions and all the other paid promotions all these people promoting this iPhone case I have got the case for free and everybody else is saying it’s terrible quality. They have a terrible return policy a $30 restocking fee and they go charge for returning it, I will never support a product that just tries to take advantage of people off of paid promotions

It’s meant as a car holder for example, you can attach it to the top line of magnets just above magsafe ring. I used it in my car for a while but the glue is not great when it gets warmer
So the Elite is silicone rubbery type of case just like the classic version? Or hard plastic? Also the screen protector that comes with the Elite case is edge to edge protection? And does it have black boarders?
It’s exactly the same material as the magbak case from last year, just with added silicon grips on the side to increase grip. No hard plastic. And yes the screen protector does have black borders, with the case over it though you won’t see it
Not sure if I got a defective product but here is my experience so far. Got the white case. May trade it in for the black or will return entirely. Camera bump is too low. Got the magbak screen protector and it cracked day 2… pinky pillow likes to pop out. Finger loop is pretty good. Magnets solid however not as strong as you might think. I heard fingerprints are just as much of a problem in black but at least it won’t stain like white. Camera button cut out is good. Decently protective. Should you buy it? Maybe. Use his code if you found his video helpful

How does grippiness of MagBak Elite case compare to the Nomad Rugged when laying on the long edge of the case? I have a few use cases where I can it use a kick stand. These situations rely on case creating some friction with the base surface to keep the phone from sliding. Cases with hard edges or that have buttons protruding from the side often cannot be propped up easily. I like the MagBak case but the design of the Nomad case looks like it may work better for my propping needs.
Can you use other brands of screen protectors with this case? My ESR glass protector usually bubbles if I apply pressure on the edges of my UAG metropolis. So I’m eager to know if this one accepts other brands aside from MagBak since the orders comes all the way from the US.
Like your video with good info.. does this case easy to slot in and out of jeans ? Will the side silicon and finger loop caused it difficulty to put in and out of jean pocket ?
No because the top is just the same material as the classic version, the rubbery material on the side and the small fingerloop is not really affecting it! You’ll mostly notice is in your hand, more grippy
To be honest, I do not like the classic case I just got. It doesn’t stick to metal surfaces like the videos they put out. The front of the case doesn’t look like it would protect much from a fall and the fact they will charge you for returning the case. Cool idea but they need to go back to the drawing board on this one.
MagBak hasn't had an innovative product in almost 10 years and this is what they finally release? As stated in the description, this is a paid promotion. Never trust review without magnetic field viewer film or their own drop testing. The elite is absolute garbage with MagSafe as it lack the vertical magnets. MagBak wallets haven't been updated ever and deteriorate in a matter of months. I like my old MagBak wallet, but at this point it is mostly epoxy. This would've been an amazing case 10 years ago.
Apple design their phone working hard keeping in mind the phone should not be heavy and not to be bulky to carry and daily use scrolling hour, and here comes a big case with stand and magnets and plastics rubber silicon and heavy design to put more weight now we cant feel actual product comfort, luxury feel, and many more😂😂 its only a phone
Magbak sucks I will never buy one again. This case sucks and is probably heavy AF. Torras makes one that also stick to fridges and stuff but is much lighter

I definitely like my case. Received mine late, but it’s excellent in my opinion, can’t see myself using another case now. Magnets super strong also.

Rokform all the way. Only cases I’ve used for many years. Super high quality and they will fix you up if anything does go wrong.

I'm not sure it's worth 79.00. I think it's closer to a 60.00 case.

The box came with another magnet (magstick) in it. How/where do we apply this, or is it meant to be a replacement?
