Can’t thank the creator enough. You have inspired me to become a truck driver. Your positive attitude and realism is unmatch. I’ll be getting my CDL in August! I was always afraid to make the switch. I’ve spent my last 7 years with USPS. Got the job when I was 18. Here’s to new adventures and a new chapter opening
Damn Alex. I don’t do truck driving. But I do parts delivery and today was just…no words can describe honestly. Recently we’ve been dealing with a shortage of drivers which means the ones who remains, have to take more deliveries. I leave my house by 5 in the morning and don’t get back till 6.. utterly exhausted and completely frustrated or so I think I am..idk..sleep deprivation can do things to you that you don’t even realize you done it or doing it…but this video gave light to the next day. And the remainder of this day. Thank you for your wisdom.
I just started watching your videos and it brings back memories I started driving around your age 22-23. Right after my time in the core. Im 50 now nd i gotta say its been a roller coaster..trucking industry..but I still love it..keep doing wht your doing young blood. Your going to do great...god bless..watching you from el paso tx

Good video man. I can tell you love your job. I'm watching from the 831. I just got my CDL permit bro and I'm working on securing the license. Can't wait to be out on the road.
Thanks bro. Addd me on Snapchat and I'll show you the book I passed on . That's if you live in California bro. DMV test seems hard asf but study your questions and download a CDL app online bro!
Hey, when you first start your truck, click it to the on position and let it click through all of the systems you’ll hear it go click click click and then turn it on. It will turn on much smoother if you do that.
Thank you for sharing the Content I appreciate it because I am getting into truck driving myself and I wanted to learn more about this life and looking forward to your videos
What up brotha, I had a question. I work for a city agency. I have benefits and retirement but my goal is be a owner operator. It’s gonna take me a while to save that money for a semi truck. I got a offer to work for someone that pays per load in the trucking life style and I do have my CDL and have experience but I feel like I’m not going to get to my goal by being there in the city. So my question is would you leave a city job and become a truck driver or stay and save up for a truck? Just wanted advice from someone that know the business
Brooo I was there 30 minutes ago😂😂😂and not to mention they don’t know how to weigh there product, they always over packing. Btw love your RUclips vids man keep up the great work😁😮💨hope to see you out there one day🙏🙏

Hey alex. Do you think you can do a Q&A livestream or video. I have a couple questions about trucking since i’m going to start my trucking journey soon
I love Peterbilt and Freightliner plus I can't wait to be a truck driver and that is a nice truck bro ik trucking companies always have better looking vehicles then any other company and I do landscaping and man those drivers are horrible at driving trust me those trucks was nice looking and then the drivers beat them up but anyway I might do l tl ik it may be harder than otr but I want to be home every night and I heard ltl makes way more than otr But have fun trucking and stay safe out there
New to your channel. Just saw a video that said "If you're thinking of getting your CDL, link in my bio" I am definitely thinking of getting it. But can't find the link. Thanks in advance.
@@thepositivelyfe8114 well I only said that comment because I have seen a lot of manual 18 wheelers with clutches and saw that his did not. It much be just a company thing, but it does make me want to be a manual truck driver so you have something to do while driving.
We only use a clutch to start or reverse.. 96% of the time we float it.. Alex still needs alittle work. Btw, you can float a 5 or 6 speed manual car as well rpm up to 2500 - 3000
@@josephmclean1538 oh I see. My school didn’t teach me how to do that or even inform me of different ways of shifting . All I be doing is double clutching. Thanks for the information!

Turn your signal off, rook!
As a truck driver, do you have to buy a truck for yourself or does the company give you a truck to use while you work for the company?
Plz answer
It all depends... usually you start driving a company truck. Unless you go out and do owner operator then you buy your own equipment

Yo man can you please show the shift down procedure...
I did notice that your left foot is not pushing down a on a clutch, is it clutch less? you just have to take your foot off the gas.
It’s called floating gears, you use your rpm’s to change gears. It saves your clutch from burning faster and it’s easier
@@aronservin3756 hmm Interesting thank you for the info
a stick shift car and a manual tractor work differently

What’s the longest amount of hours you ever drove in a day?
11 hours driving, 14 on duty loading unloading fueling etc.. that's in the usa, Canada we get 13 hours driving 1 hour onduty 16 hour window
You might not see this comment but I'd like to know what gopro mount you used to show you backing up.
I just used the hat clip & put my hat on the dock 🤝
Does the manual have a clutch?
Yes. But he’s floating them meaning speed and rpm sync

anybody relize that the check engine light was on or just me
Have you ever put it in a lower gear instead of putting the needle up by accident?
It won’t shift
And or things Grenade lol
Bro 99 cents stores have chargers for 2 bucks
Wat do u prefer a manual or a automatic
Auto lol
Are you guys hiring ?
How are you shifting without pressing the clutch ?
It’s called RPM responder that’s using it with the wind velocity
Watch the rpm. You know where the truck likes to shift and just let off the throttle.
@@josephmclean1538 oh I see. My school didn’t teach me how to do that or even inform me of different ways of shifting . All I be doing is double clutching. Thanks for the information!
