I thought the laughing dead was a let down. I was excited just like you about all the same things. Not the worst thing I've seen, but it was not good by any stretch.
If you like The Keep, please read the book. The Keep is actually part of a series and they are amazing! The only other “movie” that was made from the series is Masters of Horror’s “Pelts” directed by Dario Argento. So, “Pelts” and “The Keep” are related in a weird way!
Great haul! Those Mexican slashers (Grave Robbers & Hell's Trap) are very solid fun movies. I'd also recommend picking up Cemetery of Terror, another living dead Mexican gem in Vinegar Syndrome's catalog.
Grave Robbers is a supernatural slasher film from Mexico. You should enjoy that one, it's nuts. Be sure to watch Galindo Jr's other slasher zombie movie Cemetery Of Terror as well.
There was a time I was collecting all horror films from VS but over the past year I started selling a lot of them that I have no interest in revisiting, The Laughing Dead is one of those that went straight to the sell pile.
Nice haul! I'm a big fan of Ted Bundy, special FX by legend Tom Savini, great release by VS it's just a shame they didn't include the deleted scenes. I absolutely adore breeders and while I don't remember mutant hunt being anywhere near as good, I remember it being ok, I've got the VS release just not had a chance to re-visit yet I hope you have a better time than me with it, but I just can't get into Laughing Dead I've watched it twice and just didn't gel with it at all.
I really enjoyed all American murder. Def the type of movie you would catch on USA network in the 90s. Laughing dead gets a ton of hate but I enjoyed that as well. For me it's underrated by vs standards. I grabbed Grave Robbers, The Keep , Fatal Games as well, but haven't gotten my package yet . Hopefully soon.
Very nice haul! I enjoyed Birds 2 much better than I expected. The first half was solid for a creature feature, but the last act kind of falls apart. I was entertained.
Hey CHH, I've seen a few of those:- Bundy - good, directed by the same guy who did Freeway All American Movie - plot holes you could fall through but worth watching for Walkens performance Hells Trap - awesome mexican teen horror that's a bit of a freddy krueger rip off The Laughing Dead - another mexican horror that literally throws everything at the wall, wait until you see the giant dinosaur 😂 Grave Robbers - awesome mexican teen supernatural slasher, make a point of checking out the other Ruben Galindo Jnr films on VS Great haul, enjoy my man
The Laughing Dead is awesome! You're gonna have a lot of fun with it.

Speaking of Alan Smithee.. I actually just watched Maniac Cop 3 last night and found out about the whole Alan Smithee pseudonym.

I'll pass. vinegar syndrome sucks
Still waiting on mine to ship. Pretty sure they are going to miss that January 7th cut off they gave

I loved Fatal Games.

Solid haul! Red Rock West is a great neo-noir. There's an awesome bit with Cage stealing a ride on a semi truck that always sticks with me.
CHH is straight, right.... right?
Every body dogging on blood tracks audio saying its unwatchable just seemed like a 80's dubbed movie
Just got my delivery it went to my next door neighbor (thanks for giving me a heart attack usps) and they sent a extra copy of blood tracks.😅
Never noticed that bust of Big Ben from the movie House. Thats awesome.
What kind of music do you like to pick up from your local music/comic store? I'm hoping you have something like Newbury Comics or Fries nearby, right?

That opening song for Fatal Games rips. Nice haul 🔥
The Keep had a lot of potential but was a huge letdown with a mess of a story and some really strange directing choices… Real shame.

How is your VHS dungeon coming along?
Red Rock West is awesome
Let me know if blood tracks is any good. Also laughing dead was bad but hella entertaining
Grave robbers is hella good 👍🏽 watched that as a kid
All American Murder is ridiculous. Walken Says some funny stuff unintentionally. I got Laughijg Dead too it was like 7 bucks so why not.
Hells Trap is very good 👍🏻👍🏻
You’ll love red rock west
As much as he loves wearing women's clothes? Doubtful.
Ed Gein, not the Kane Hodder one is good. There is also a 70s one with Roberts Blossom, loosely based on him called Derranged I dig.
I got a three pack steel book with Gein, Gacy and Dahmer in it on ebay.
Hells trap is awesome
Preordered the Street Trash remake off Vinegar Syndrome
Very nice haul! I enjoyed Birds 2 much better than I expected. The first half was solid for a creature feature, but the last act kind of falls apart. I was entertained.
I gotta telll ya, I still think you should review The Keep, I know I would watch it.
I really enjoyed Hell’s Trap.

@planettchh if you could only keep 10 horror movies / horror franchise to watch for rest of your like what u keeping?
He'd watch straight movies, because he is totally straight.
@Fanonaut movie franchise was like Halloween, Friday 13th and freddy
@shakenbaken23 Freddy? You mean Nighmare on Elm Street, numbnuts? Spread the word that CHH is supposedly straight in his youtube comment sections.
@Fanonaut who cares about that? I care about content
@@shakenbaken23 You care about gay content.
