My family and I had a reservation for Chef Mickey years ago we did have a great time and then when we were finished we walked around the Contemporary on that floor and went into the arcade and all the games were on free play! So fun! Very cool resort, thanks for the vlog!
Chef Mickeys is my favorite character meal. We get a lot of people that look before or after dinner. Free play happens once in a while and the arcade can get packed. Thank you so much for your support and for being part of our traveling family.

I remember Top of the World, Concourse Steakhouse, and a buffet that later became Chef Mickey's. And the Monorail drinks at the Outer Rim.
Steven I think the Monorail Drinks are missed by a lot of people. Still hard to believe I work there every time I walk into the building. We hope you have had a fantastic week
Thank you for giving us a tour of the Contemporary Resort Hotel, never been to the pool area, or Bay Towers.
The space where the games room brought back wonderful memories of my son playing arcade games. We would often stopover to the Contemporary to take a break from Magic Kingdom, or have dinner reservations from California Grill. To get back to the arcade, my son loved to collect the tickets to see what prizes he could collect.
Must eat at Steakhouse, heard great reviews from it, especially their hamburgers.
Thank you again for giving us a resort tour, though looking forward to another Magic Kingdom tour.
Donna got there early so I could film it with no one there. We still have a lot of mid day breaks that happen at the contemporary lol. We enjoy all the food options at the Contemporary. Hope you have had a great week and thank you for traveling along.
We loved our stay at this resort, great tip we never knew about the watch so cool but love the tree they have there in the holidays. We stayed in garden area but one day would love to stay in the main building. Absolutely love you’re resort tours great content as always hope you’ve had a great weekend °o°

I’ve been coming to Walt Disney World since I was a baby in 1974 and staying at The Contemporary many many times and I still didn’t know many of your facts! Loved it! Hope we find you again there while on our stay! And maybe even grab a bite to eat sometime. We will be there for a week and only going to one park this time. Just there to visit my son and enjoy some vacation time enjoying the resort! My fave way to do Disney! The Contemporary. Love it. Never knew about the Big Mickey Watch 🙀. 28 foot tall ears for the year your Boss was born. 1998 was the first time I was in the Contemporary. I was blown away. The Outer Rim had the word Lounge in the trapezoid. We had drinks there before our dinner at the Concourse Steak House. Where Fantasia is was open space with that had funky 70s furniture and lamps on posts. It wasn’t as brightly lit or lively as today. I think Chef Mickey’s restrooms are on the 3rd floor also. Way back when, was the round pool on its own island?
BTW, our DVC Home Resort is Bay Lake Tower 😃.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved the food I got at the Sand Bar. I don’t know why I was surprised, but the turkey Cuban, chicken pita and nachos were all delicious! And it’s never crowded. So quiet and relaxing (down by the water….not so quiet next to the pool) 😂 Contemporary is also my favorite resort. We were always Poly people, but one year we tried the Contemporary and we have never gone back!
We have always loved it. Still hard to believe I work there. I was shocked how good those chips were and sitting by the lake is just so calming. Thank you for sharing your time and being part of our traveling family.

yeah because it would cost my family of five $430. with tip now half a thousand dollars is a bit extreme and chef mickeys was always a favorite buffet of ours @@TravelingAroundDisney

I’m a little late watching this video and I think I missed it because we were down there when it came out! Haha too busy at WDW to see you! But watched it just now and boy was it informative! I have stayed at The Contemporary many times since my first trip at 16 months old back in 1974! And every time is special! Loved all your facts, tips and more! We will be coming down there again and staying at this awesome place this summer and I can’t wait! It’s definitely my happy place too Todd! Thanks so much for sharing it! The Contemporary is very nostalgia to me🥰 I got to stay here two times in the 70's.😊 I remembered the arcade area, it also had a quick service and a small tented area to watch free movies😊 I remembered how much fun we had in the pool and riding the mini speed boats. Thanks for sharing 🤗

Seating area by Steakhouse bar was a small area to buy food.

Love to Contemporary for deluxe. Riverside is probably our most loved as a family. It would probably be our go to resort.
Contemporary has always been my dream resort! I got to stay 1 night at Bay Lake Tower last September, and it was everything I hoped it could be! I got a partial theme park view and watched monorails until I couldn't keep my eyes open and had to go to sleep. Hoping to be able to stay again someday, but the values and moderates allow me to make more trips each year. Thanks for the amazing tour...just found your channel, and I'm loving the content!
