I'm glad she is open again. I'm sure she requires more in maintenance than revenue provides but this is something worth the cost. A place in history that can never be replaced. My great grandfather returned from WW2 on this vessel she deserves what ever must be done to keep our history alive.

I am so happy, I had so many good memories at the queen Mary. From my first field trip in elementary to my first date in high school, I’m glad she’s open for the world to see her beauty once more.

i remember my parents used to take me there every year when I was younger and I was absolutely terrified. I remember having horrible breakdowns because I found it really creepy. Don’t get me started on the part where we visit the pool

Wow I love hearing the Queen Mary’s horns it gave me goosebumps and proud to hear she is open to the American tourists, the Mary is a proud ship she & her sister the Queen Elizabeth shortened WW2 the Mary was so fast she made Germans eyes spin the subs couldn’t begin to torpedo the Mary both ships were fast actually the Queen Mary was faster than her sister the Queen Elizabeth.
For many yrs I had big interests of the Titanic but after being on the QM she captured my heart she was actually built safer and she was much wider & 140 ft longer than Titanic.
To this day the Mary is more beautiful than any cruise ships out there and built with a double steal hull strong as a ice breaker it’s because the Queen Mary not a cruise ship she is a transatlantic ocean liner just like the Queen Mary 2 they are both made to take on hurricane force storms in the North Atlantic she & QM2 is the best!
I've DJ-ed many weddings on the Queen Mary. The lady that was running the catering department on the Queen Mary was the rudest, nastiest person I had ever had to deal with in all my 30 years of DJ-ing weddings all over SoCal. She is an absolute monster. She caused me major problems with my brides and grooms. Worse place I have ever worked, which is runner up to the Hotel Belair in Belair and the Millennial Biltmore Hotel downtown, which also treats vendors like trash.

Last night my wife treated me to a night on the ship for my birthday and we were unpleasantly supersized that our deluxe harbor view state room looked nothing like the pictures on their website. It looked more like the standard room with wallpaper and not wooden panel walls. My birthday diner at Chelsea Chowder House was not worth the $130. I had the clam chowder which I give a 2 out of 5, a half dozen roasted oysters that were not good at all and a wedge salad that was good. My wife has the blackened salmon and mash potatoes that were good as well. The waiter was very nice but forgot things even that it was a birthday diner that was noted on the reservation...that OK we still tipped him well. This morning that meet with having to cancel the 90+ per person brunch due to not being able to take a shower due to no hot nor warm water, just very cold. We usually don't complain, we just don't return, but I want others to know what we experienced. My wife politely brought this to the front desk's attention, and they said that we need to contact Expedia and that the hotel ship will honor a partial refund. We see what happens.
Haven't visited the queen mary for 8 years. Should come to visit it 😊
The Queen Mary is the closest we'll ever get to walking on the Titanic ❤RESPECT ❤

I remember my grandma telling me he went on board her in 1967 on her last day she would go to the queen mary first time 1939
I just heard a radio station talking about the life of Jerry Springer and how he came here at the age of 5 from Germany on the queen Mary.

The last time I was on the ship I took a ghost tour and the main pool area was open for the ghost tours at the time I was there in 2008-2009 I think I don't remember the exact year it was !! But in the changing room of the pool area the guide told us to turn off our flashlights one person per stall and in the dark just to use our senses but that when I saw it a 10ft tall black shadow with red fire glowing eyes a demon cuz that is were a portal to the other side after I saw that I raN out it got me real nervous real quick
