My friend and I stayed overnight at the Queen Mary the weekend of 5/18/24 and took a 2-hour ghost tour. During the tour, they let us inside room B340, and the engine room where a guy was crushed by door 13. We also went into a room where a piano plays by itself at all hours of the night. We only got a tiny peek at the pool, which I remember from an Unsolved Mysteries episode. Such a fun visit.
I’ve been on the Queen Mary and never did I feel any kind of haunting.
3am is known as the witching hour. The time when spirits are most active. I'm a "sensitive" and have experienced many spirits so I would not even go near that ship. I definitely would not go near the pool. More than likely, these are residual hauntings where they don't realize they are dead and they repeat the same actions.
My friend experienced a spirt in their room,,,,said it was real they almost jumped overboard
I would still go. It's a DOCKED ship lol I get sea sick
Well I have never ever had a supernatural experience and I've been wanting one so yeah I will stay over night there soon. And tht whole 3am thing, I don't believe it cuz I usually go to sleep at 4 or 5 am listening to horror stories and all and as I said nothing has happened.
That dome used to house the spruce goose. I was born and raised in long beach and I have always wanted to stay on the queen mary I love this. Thank u guys for always bringing me a lil taste of home all the way here in Alabama
You’re very welcome! We’re happy the ship is being restored to her glory days.
Good job, guys. I came here after watching the Amazon Great Ships show and QM was an episode. Did you know QM was nearly scrapped 3 times? After her first time being dormant for about 3 years it took 4 years just to remove the rust. That's insane. Thanks for the tour.
Didn't know about 3x, but knew it came close to getting scrapped. Thanks for watching!
I used to work there...way back in the 1980 - 1993! And I can confirm it is haunted!
Oh Bill and Lisa, you are such a lovely couple.
And as a former crew member aboard the RMS Queen Mary, I would like to thank you for the kind review and video.
You both did a beautiful job with your filming and presentation.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your RUclips videos.
Our pleasure! The Queen Mary is a classic and happy to see her being restored and cared for now. Thanks for watching!
I have booked for January for my 70th birthday. This is on my bucket list. I swore I would spend the night as soon as they reopened.
Enjoy your stay on the QM, Lou Ann!
Thank you Bill and Lisa for an extraordinary tour tour of the Ol’ Queen Mary. I read many articles on this ship and for you to show us around was amazing.
Thanks S! We're happy to see the ship getting restored back to her glory days.
Thank you for being so sweet and taking a picture with me today at Sams! You guys are the sweetest, so nice to have met you today. ❤
Our pleasure, Linda! Tell your Husband to go shopping with you next time so we can all be in the pic. LOL!!
This is so exciting guys!..I always wanted to see the rooms of the hotel inside the Queen Mary!… what a treat to my eyes!… Thank you 🙏Guys!
You're very welcome!
I have fond memories of the QUEEN MARY back in the mid-1970s when I first went on board at the age of 7 when my family lived in Long Beach. I am a regular Carnival Cruiser and I always see the Queen Mary whenever I go on cruises but I haven't been aboard since 2012. I plan to visit again as soon as all of her restoration has been completed. I would like to see her in her full glory! I hope the City of Long Beach will go through with plans of developing the Queen Mary's dock area as a boardwalk entertainment center with several restaurants, bars, retail stores, and carnival rides for kids. This boardwalk development would bring more visitors to the Queen Mary and ensure income to keep her maintained for decades!
We're Carnival cruisers too and always see her before pushing off.. beautiful!
I love that u two are a married couple who seems to have do much fun together😊 I love watching your vlogs & watching u guys enjoy so much yummy food!!
Thank you so much!!
👍Let's partay!
What a fun July 4th!
Thank you for taking us along.
Not sure if I would spend the night as I have seen shows about the Queen Mary and the hauntings.
Personally, the recording sounds like you had another roommate you couldn't see taking a snooze. 👻😱
You and Lisa with the Partay! LOL!!! Roommate... maybe! As I commented here elsewhere, when I recorded that sound clip, there was no 'knocking' sound, only the snoring. Also, not mentioned was the 3 kicks on the door earlier that evening (looked in the door peephole, no one there).
@@billandlisa OK, this sent chills down my spine!
@@yvonneacosta2539 Us too. lol
Hi Bill and Lisa. I really enjoyed this one. So interesting. I have my Husband watching you now because I am always talking about your trips. You both keep people watching. Take care....
Thanks so much! Hope your husband enjoyed the vlog. =)
I love you guys! What great tours. I feel like your my friends and have known you forever. Keep up the good work👍
Thank you! Will do!
Bill & Lisa...thank you for the great tour of the Queen Mary! Really enjoyed it. You two are great tour guides! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for sharing your day and night at the stately abd newly renovated QE. It brought back memories of past tours I've taken on board.
Our pleasure!
I've toured the Queen Mary (a long time ago). The fireworks are 1 of the better shows out there.
Awesome one guys!!! And the “ghost” room was funny as hell. Lisa couldn’t wait to jam out!
No joke, she didn't want to walk towards the room with me. Did you make it to the end with the sound clip? Funny thing was, when I recorded the clip, there was no 'knocking'.
@@billandlisa I did. Anything ghosts and stuff, we’re there.
Wow very interesting about Queen Mary thank you very much for sharing this with us…..
Glad you enjoyed it!
Bill and Lisa, Thank you so much. The RMS QUEEN MARY is sooo special. Enjoyed this sooo much! ❤❤❤
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the vlog.
Heard a while back they were going to cut it for scrap. So glad to see it has been restored! Would love to see you guys try the Champagne brunch.
I was just there in mid-June! I stayed on the Queen Mary for 1 night prior to boarding a cruise ship. It was so easy to walk across the parking lot. It was really neat to learn all about the history. I wish I would have had time to take a more in-depth tour but the general tour gives a great overview. I highly recommend staying!
Agreed, very convenient for Carnival cruisers.
**FUN FACT**
*After the movie TITANIC was released in late 1997, the Queen Mary had a surge in ticket sales to where the attraction doubled in ticket sales! The ship's cabins were fully booked by couples trying to relive the romance of Jack and Rose.
*The Disney Company once owned the Queen Mary in 1988 but it failed to attract visitors with its HAUNTED SHIP concept in the early 1990s. Disney later sold the Queen Mary when plans for PORT DISNEY were abandoned in 1992. Disney never wanted the Queen Mary but acquired it as part of a package when it took over the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim Ca. Disney never owned Disneyland Hotel until after the actual owner's death in 1984.
This was... different. 👻
Thanks for sharing guys. 🎆🎇 🚢
Very interesting video on the Queen Mary! Thank you for the shoutout! 🎉 Happy Belated 4th!
You're very welcome!
Aloha Bill n Lisa Modelo time ,that was the best part of the video.Hey that was one OBAKE you heard snoring, Yikes!! lol👻👻🤙🤙
For reals! No joke!!
Lisa! Imaculant? You totally made up a new word that is utterly brilliant and makes total sense! Can't resist you chirpy little cuties. With love from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤
LOL!! Thanks so much!!
@@billandlisa hahaha! Keep being you two. It blumming works 🇬🇧
The video: an overnight stay aboard the Queen Mary
'shows a picture of the Belgenland in the thumbnail' 💀
Jokes aside, this was one of the best in-depth reviews of the Queen Mary that involves purely her hotel accommodation and not her reputation as a ghost ship like most others talk about. Glad you enjoyed your time back on her! I'm still waiting to go just once.
As for B340, I'll be that guy. That was never an original room aboard the ship back in her service days. Before her remodeling when she arrived in Long Beach, that area as well as some of the other surrounding cabins was made up of about two smaller Tourist Class (Third Class) cabins. And most of the ghost stories aboard the ship were apparently made up by previous management such as Disney to promote her as a haunted ship. Not to say there aren't ghosts aboard or that B340 isn't haunted - by all accounts there are - but just a bit of trivia. :)
Good info! Thanks for watching!
You guys are so brave!!!
2 of the Very best in the Business Cheers 🍻
I had stayed on the Queen Mary when it was part of Disney. Have an amazing week. Cheers.
Happy Sunday 😊 and Let Party Party. 🥳 and Thank you for Share your video ❤ and Have a Amazing week ahead. ❤
Thanks so much!
It’s sad how sensationalized all the negative things said about the ship while she was closed. She was not sinking. That was a plumbing leak. Still bad. But still very different from a hull breach. She’s been mistreated so long and it’s so wonderful to see her come back to life and be truly cared for.
I love seeing your experience aboard shortly after she opened. Look forward to checking out your Sunday Bruch video. Since last year, so much more has been done. And I love how you highlighted entering the ship like entering the Carnival cruise ship. I hope one day the entire land surrounding could transform into an Art Deco 1930s style British shipping terminal to REALLY immersive visitors into another world, another time, like they’re really about to set sail. It’s a lot of undoing previous neglect and recreating original features present during her sailing days.
Great tour of The Queen Mary! Nice food and fireworks 🎇
Thank you! 🤗
I stayed at the Queen Mary in January 2020 with friends. We had a great time.
Nice to see again, Had dinner and saw "Ike and Tina Tuner review", and in the other ballroom danced to "Les Brown and his band renown", over 50 years ago, time flies when your having fun. 🙏🏼
Wow, 50 years ago! Very cool.
Thanks for the tour of the Queen Mary. Great info. Thanks and take care.
Our pleasure!
Hey guys, GREAT review of the ship. Travelling to the States from Australia in May and think you have convinced us to spend a night in board. Oh, and thanks for the heads up on booking a tour early so we don't miss out!

You're very welcome, Linda.
Wow awesome video of queen Mary’s ship. Looked like a mansion inside and all the preserved artifacts make it memorable for tourists. Music and fireworks were fantastic. Great job !! Love seeing both of you every Sunday ❤❤🥂

You're very welcome!
Looks like fun ❤
Wow Bill and Lisa! You are aboard the Queen Mary fantastic!! What a great Revue! I have always wondered what it would be like to be aboard that ship! It's great that you could still spend the night there! Probably the most Historic ship ever built, beside The Titanic! Thank you so much for showing us around!♥️♥️🍹🎶
Thanks so much!
Love the fireworks!! Ships are fascinating with all that history! Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary!😱
Bloody Mary... You're bringing it back, Winnie! lol
Ahh, I'm hoping to visit the Queen Mary in August, and am so excited. I recently stayed on the QE2 over in Dubai, and was actually quite disappointed - excited to see how QM fares!
Looks Pretty Cool The Fireworks 🎆
Thumbs up good watch ⌚ 👍 👌
I haven't stayed at the Queen Mary Hotel since the early 90s. And yes, I remember the thin walls.
Love the video keep making more.
Mahalo Bill and Lisa for the tour of the Queen Mary. This makes me want to visit out of curiosity. I might encourage my friends to check this unique tour and experience the whole thing. Keep safe you two and I truly enjoy your channel 👍🏼😉🤓🌷🌈.
Thanks so much!
That was fun. Thanks for sharing. Glad the ghosts didn't bother you.😁
Us too!
What fun! And the original wood and etched glass throughout is just stunning😘
It really is! A timeless classic for sure.
Love your Queen Mary vlog. Wife and I are having a wedding anniversary on 8/7. 28 wonderful years. We wish a shout out. Thanks Nelson & Gigi. We watch you both all the time.
Thanks so much! And, absolutely! Look for it in a couple weeks.
I stayed there about 7 years ago, prior to going on a Carnival Cruise. I took the night tour, it was fantastic! My room was originally, no amenities. No hot water... Boiler wasn't working. Loved all the history. I'll have to come check-out the changes!
We had hot water, but no AC. lol
Good Morning And Happy Sunday Bill & Lisa ❤
Happy Sunday, Christine!
I stayed on there in 1986. Then you could tour the whole ship on your own. The engine room and indoor pool. They also had a window where you could also see one of the props.
Lisa didn’t want anything to do with that haunted room. 😂
Nope! lol
I didn’t know you could go this. Loved it! Thank you
You're very welcome!
Thanks for showing this and keep up the good videos!
Thanks, will do!
Great show guys!
I was on the Queen Mary back in the 80s. It's a neat atattraction.
Even beet now.😊
Yes, they're doing a great job on the restoration so far.
Thanks for the tour. I once took the ghost tour many many years ago. Kind of spooky. Not snoring. You encounter a ghost. Ha ha ha
If so, hope it was Casper. =)
I would have jumped up at Bill and said boo when he was at room 340! Bill you looked so scared😮😅.
Great video!! Recently my friends mentioned about all of us staying there overnight. Looks like a great place for a staycation. Thanks for sharing!!
You're very welcome!
Never knew you could stay on the Queen Mary. Looks very interesting. glad you had fun. Hope all went well at the dentist. Can't wait for your next travels. Stay safe.
Worth the stay if you want to check it off your list. Dentist went well, thank you. =)
I’m glad they put in better lighting in the hallway. It used to be so dark, turning in the hall to go to your room, of course we had the furthest one 😮 I was so scared! The bathroom had the big open vent 😳 You are brave to stay again, at least there were quite a few people. When we went, after the ship was closed for the day, there were only a few people here and there. I wouldn’t stay again but I can say I did!
We remember the old lighting and lack of it down the halls. The white LED's do light up the aisles and halls much better.
Thank you!!
Awesome this is amazeing thank you ! I wanna go one day 🥰🥰
looked fun ty
An absolutely spectacular video of the Queen Mary today, great job Bill and Lisa. Speaking of haunted places, have you stayed at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego? Heard that place has a lot of haunted history as well.
Not yet! Maybe one day (If I can talk Lisa into it lol).
The Queen Anne Hotel definitely is hUnted. Several of us found out first hand and it really scares us. It was even on the haunted house tour.
Bill and Lisa…… LOVE IT
Thanks!!
if you tell bill not to open the door, you know he's gonna do it. LOL
I just had too. lol
Ahhhhh, Bill is so daring 😱
didnt expect a honky tonk on the Q.M>!!!!
Wow!! That noise at night would’ve freaked me out!! A little too creepy for me!! You guys are brave!! ❤
Thanks for doing this review really useful am staying on board in November the room tour and food offerings were particularly useful ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Good gosh l love this ❤❤❤❤❤ do more
Enjoy yourselves! 👻👻
Oh my gosh I love this video! I love the Queen Mary and live in LONG BEACH! Have stayed overnight with lots of great memories! We had a sitting room, bedroom and of course a bathroom. At a great price! Took my rent-a-kid and ate at Sir Winston Restaurant. We were treated like Royalty! So so many great memories! ❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
We stayed in the Menger Hotel in San Antonio, Texas, which is part of the battlefield during the Alamo, that was probably the spookist place we stayed at. My wife's stuff was moved around, while we were out.
Yikes! We visited SAT once, but stayed at the Crockett Hotel.
Cool🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩!
Another great video in my hood! 😂😂😂 havent been there since i was a kid!!!! Cant remember what it was like but im glad you showed us a tour of the queen mary!! Thank you 😊😊😊 the chicken and pizza line looked crazy!!!!! 🎆 🎇 🧨
Thanks Beverly! We heard from the staff they were sold out at 3500 people for this event. There was another line for hot dogs and hamburgers and that was just as long. So glad we ate early! lol
That sounds like walking and heavy breathing. Do do do do…
Glad to know they have a better dining option. Overall that would be a fun experience for the fireworks.
This was a cool and interesting video…me and my kids love watching you guys videos
Awesome! Thank you!
Uhuuu a spooky night 😮😮😮😮
We stayed there before it closed. It was great! And the Sunday brunch was amazing. I would really recommend you guys try the Sunday brunch when it returns.
Yes, definitely will check out the Sunday Brunch when it returns.
Awesome 😎 video
We may book to stay next March before our cruise. Interesting our Dad sailed on this ship in December 1941 when he was in the Army going from US to the South Pacific. He said by the end of the sail they were rationing water so no showers. He returned to the US after four years of service. I think it would be cool to walk the same ship he did over 80 years ago.
That would be very cool! Thanks for sharing!
