I have been hesitant about going on a cruise. Now that I am retired, trying come up with travel list. This video, certainly made me, want to give to it try, but probably would need a passport, so got to get that first.
Yes, passport highly recommended, but a certified copy (raised seal) of your birth certificate will do as well. Cruising is a fun experience!
Hi Bill!! Hi Lisa!! I hope you folks are doing well. I absolutely LOVE your cruise vlogs! What fun to travel with your sisters and your niece and hubby, grand niece, and nephew. I’m so sorry that Erin and Nico couldn’t join you. I absolutely love traveling vicariously with you all on these cruises to Mexico. The food looks so delicious. Bill, your entire dinner at Cucina del Capitano was right up my alley! As I was looking at the menu with you and Lisa, my eyes saw the burrata, then that tomahawk pork chop! OMGEEE! Hubby and I sadly could never eat there, because of his epi pen allergy to shellfish and the possibility of cross contamination. Ugh! We would, however, be visiting that soft serve machine often. 🤭 I cannot wait to see the remaining cruise travel vlogs. I’m sure you’re all having a great time! Robert and Leilani are wonderful parents to their little Alani. She’s such a cute little one and so well behaved. Take care! May I bother you to do a shoutout to our son Joshua whenever you could? He just passed the Bar. We are so incredibly proud of him. 😊

Hi Bill and Lisa. We just saw your video about the panorama. My wife and I sailed on it when it was about two months old back at the beginning of 2020. We loved the ship, and one of the unique things about the ship was that the buffet had a section that they called the cake bar, where they serve a variety of six or seven cakes daily. Everyday of the cruise my wife and I would go there and we'd have three or four slices of cake; it was one of the most fun things I've ever done on a cruise! We notice you didn't mention it in your video. Did you happen to notice if the cake bar still exists in the buffet? FYI you guys are probably our favorite RUclipsrs.
Hi guys! Yes, we did see the cake section offering several types. Not sure if offered daily as we didn't eat in the buffet every night. They did have a Chocolate Extravaganza night where they has several types of chocolate cakes, that was fun! Thanks so much!!

I have never been on a cruise before, but everytime I watch your videos, it makes me want to. Maybe I should take advantage of the Boyd Rewards complimentary cruise. Safe travels! I heard you're in Hawaii today!
Best to try a short cruise first to see if you like it, then jump to a 7+ day. Just got back from Oahu the other day, stay tuned for those vlogs. =)

Three 6 second commercials during your video, Tide with 85% more, Speedy Rewards and Eggo Leige Waffles...don't need multiple minute commercials to get your message out companies!
That pork chop looked decadent! Actually all the food looked really good. I love that front window cabin! I love standing on the front of a ship while at sea because I'm weird, so that's a great option!

@@billandlisa I was actually praising the commercials for being 6 seconds long and getting their product out there. I have seen 2+ minute ads to 1 hour+ ads on RUclips, most not interesting enough to hold your attention through the first minute!

I have never taken a cruise because I don't really have anything to do with the sea, flying above the sea doesn't really make me happy either, but that's just me. Have you thought about going to a different destination such as Alaska, up to Canada's East Coast, etc... or try the one that goes around the Hawaiian Islands? I think all last about 7 days or less.
We have and would love to. Alaska for a 7 day leaves out of Seattle. Same with cruising around the HI islands, 7 day out of Honolulu. So the logistics and airfare costs can add up. Maybe one day though!

Hi Bill and Lisa, this is your Gardena neighbor here. Last time my girlfriend and I were on The Panorama was Nov 2021. I think we may have to go back at some point. Cruising was still in its restart phase and I think that could be why I wasn't too impressed. We will be sailing for the first time on Carnival Radiance in a few weeks, which I know you two have already done, and I've watched those videos. Looking forward to experiencing that ship's 200 million dollar upgrade.
Any plans to eventually try out Carnival's XL Class ships...Mardi Gras, Celebration or Jubilee? We book The Celebration for Nov 2024. I can't wait to get on that ship!!

I loved watching this. I went on my very first cruise in November 2022 on the Panorama. I enjoyed it but I had just lost my grandmother (my best friend) 2 weeks before our cruise. I made the best of it and enjoyed it all.... but feel like I missed out on a lot. I think physically I was present but mentally and emotionally I was dealing with the loss of my grandmother. SO, now we are going on the Panorama AGAIN in February 2024. I am so excited and watching this video I was able to envision myself there hahaha. Did you guys do a video of what you did at the ports for this cruise? Thanks for all the tips.

That cabin up front might be a good buy, but most cabins in the fore of the ship can enjoy the sound of the anchor dropping every morning about 5am. Quite alarming the first time you experience it. Sounds like the ship hit something. So I would always be careful in recommending unusual cabins to people.
Yes, my sister did mention the anchor sound. Thankfully, we had a few sea days. 👍🏼
We’re going on the panorama in March, so excited to see your vids! How can I get my fam a reservation to the brewery tour/tasting?
Reservations are easy, once onboard, open your Carnival app and choose what day and time (offered twice on every sea day) you want to take the brewery tour and how many and that's it. Just be sure to link all your travel companions together online or just go to Guest Services and they'll be able to help with that. *Linking guests not really necessary for this tour, but you'll need it if making dining reservations to be sure everyone sits together. We have 3 more Panorama vids coming, so stay tuned. Have a great cruise!!
