honestly, I listen to all of the songs you guys make almost religiously, they are more or less constantly in the background whenever I'm doing work. everything that you make is absolutely amazing. this song, in particular, is by far my favorite, though. the points around 2:03 feel like you are witnessing something beautiful and majestic and all-powerful, just as star deserves. at 3:10, when it quiets down into a softer melody, it feels like we're hearing the darkness of space, the sheer loneliness of being a star. then, as it builds up back into a crescendo, its almost as if we are hearing the building of power and energy that happens when a star collapses into a neutron star. I especially loved how it was portrayed in the video, talking about magnetars and their beacons of magnetic pulses that shoot across the galaxy like cosmic pilot lights. and then, the way that the central theme fades out, as we acknowledge that it was neutron stars that helped create us as we knew it, building the larger atoms that we require for our survival... acknowledgment of their power and their continued existence and place in the universe.
my apologize for the long rambling comment, i just find this song so wonderful and really wanted to thank you guys for making it
