Ikr! So satisfying. It reminded me of how the Stellar Engines track had a remix of the Dyson Sphere theme, the Nuke the Moon vid had a bit from Nuke a City, and Black Hole Guide had a reference to Black Hole Bomb, and ofc the Loneliness, Dissatisfaction and Tail End series. It's way cool when they have different soundtracks crossover into videos with similar themes.

The music is probably synced with the video. They probably show the video materials and ask to make a song that fits with it.

the reason i love epic mountain so much is that theyre not just a music creator, theyre a music creator that *really* puts thought into their tracks, so much so that they reuse melodies from previous tracks they made in future videos mentioning the topic

"Time" tune is very good example for that. They are using when they talk about cells in a video. In that moment, you know you should listen well, video'll get serious.

@@bolkaniche1309 Epic Mountain combines songs in their compositions all the time, and I love that they do because it adds so much extra meaning. Their Life soundtrack also has Time incorporated into it, The Great Filter has Fermi Paradox in it, Alien Scale has Dyson Sphere, Limits of Humanity has Big Bang and Black Holes 2 in it, just to name some examples

My favorite part of this one was the skyhooks callback at 5:50, it sounds so magnificent. Skyhooks was one of my big favorites from you guys and I loved hearing it here

I really like how it’s hellish sounding at the beginning reflecting Venus
the "wgwgwgwg" part at 5:42 is so funny but also so good and fits very well as they start talking about water - the synthesizer sounds like water droplets (to me at least)
I like the whole progression from a very muffled & dangerous texture to a more and more vivid one along with the gradual terraforming of Venus... Plus I don't know if that was intentional or not but I like that some of the main instruments are kinds of bells considering how Venus' "sound" really feels like a heavy hellish bell sound! Anyways, another lovely masterpiece to listen to :)

Damn, the first half of the track really sounds like the soundtracks made by Frank Klepacki for Dune and C&C, and i love it!
I was feeling the same thing, really had those dune vibes and even the instrumentation reminded me of the midi sountrack for the first dune games.

took me a while to notice, but i really like the time signature change when the actual video begins talking about their plan of freezing venus! makes it all the more cooler.
I like how at the beginning the sound reminds me of some kind of hot industrial area, while the ending is calmer. Like how we terraform the planet

Is this the exact same track used in the Terraforming Mars video? I've listened to both and have come to the conclusion that they're both really close if they aren't the same.
They are the same track, its just cut and rearranged for the mars episode.

Honestly the idea is pretty nuts, turning literal HELL earth 2.O yeah I heard this before. It seems unbelievable that we could terraform Venus that little work. The way Kurzgesagt explain things is so straightforward. And, the music, don’t even get me start-I love the skyhook sounding part in this soundtrack and how the co2 molecules matched the melody. Its all around amazing. The beginning up to 2:48 goes so hard for absolutely no reason 😭so *hellishly*good & catchy…
