The exact reason why I don't listen to car and driver. Sometimes they're right, sometimes they are FAR off from being correct. I could've sworn this car was quicker but no one on this platform will do real world tests. You should review a '13-'19 cla250 one day. It's something about reviewing slightly above average cars and pushing them that make them exciting. While I'm on that, find a mitsubishi mirage haha, I had one for a rental a few days ago and I can't tell you how slow it was. Engine was obnoxiously loud too.
I have a 2009 Accord EX-L V6 in that exact spec!!! I love my Accord so much, I got in February and have already put 10k miles on it (bought it at 92k, currently at 102k). He is affectionately known as Mr. Sapphire 💙💙 Its my forever car!!
My grandpa used to have a 2010 Honda Accord Lx 4 cylinder it was in decent shape until the last few years like around 2020 and so, so ended up selling it due to he could no longer drive, but yes the 2010 generation is one of my favorites besides the 2007 generation for sure, now granted I love the later Accord models, I’m not wild about the body style of the 2023/2024 Accords but certain colors it looks okay on, especially the fancy Gray no doubt! 👍🏻
@@DMCarReviews I agree! 👍🏻 I just got done watching your 2003 Infiniti video I never knew that crossover existed I was a kid when it came out, the only crossover I knew was the Murano, and the Murano is nowhere nearly impressive as the Fx45 so I wonder what the actual Nissan model itself would be called, because now the Armada is a V8 nice like a Titan and Infiniti version is a Q series, even though it’s a gas hog that’s something I would own if I had to pick reliable V8’s! 😁
For me Personally, I prefer the 2016 Earth Dreams Coupe version V6, cuz the way that one sounds makes it feel like you're behind the wheel of a vehicle from your Dreams.
I don’t think it would make much of a difference on this car, my Tiguan with 184hp which I know it’s a lot slower than these cars, is doing 0-60 in about 7.9s and 16.1s 1/4 mile, the car in this video is just too slow for whatever reason
@@B8_ghostt I've Dragy timed a new Tiguan, and got 8.1 seconds in cold weather and perfect DA. On a hot day like here with the A/C your Tiguan would be pulling 9-9.5s.
@@jmark7993 It wouldn't change much, it's the weather and DA. The 2009 4-cylinder did 11s in these conditions. With good cold weather and a negative DA, I think it could do 7.3-7.5s, but it won't be any drastically better.
@13:12 Interestingly enough, the Acura TL of the same year is almost two seconds faster from 0-60mph. There’s two reasons for this. 1 - Acura deleted VCM (Variable Cylinder Management) off of their version of this V6 (and added a bit more power too). And 2 - Acura programmed and geared the 5-speed auto differently than the version from Honda. Those small changes (and others) make it far more performant than the Honda Accord.

Lmao 😂 damn you went to member car on east gude.. thats where i bought my civic from. I know Aiden and Tyler very well. Member car is good but my civic had a lot of problems with it that i had to fix. Spark plugs, coolant, water pump, replaced all the window weather stripping, breaks, oil filter was on crazy tight. The oil drain bolt was on at 40 foot pounds. Supposed to be 18ft pounds. Replaced the thermostat was blown, had to replace that. Had to replace the transmission fluid, and filter. Had to do the breaks also. Member car is lucky i know how to work on cars, cause they sold me a vehicle that had a ton of issues with it. Lol but i dont blame Aiden or Tyler. I blame their mechanics department. They sell used cars, they should fix them before they sell them. But i think thats why they push the warranty so hard, they want youu to get the warranty cause they know the car as is has a ton of stuff wrong with it. But my civic is now running very well, im finally finished basically rebuilding the entire car. I also had to get new tires and rebalance, and a entire new front end alignment. But member car definitely has good prices for what you buy
Aiden and Tyler are nice guys, but the problem there is the owner, who I don't even want to mention. The guy needs to re-look on how to run a good business and appreciate the work of others.
I know this isn't a service/maintenance video, but I'm gonna put this here regardless: I've got a 2008 EX-L V6 200,000 on the odometer, she runs fine in almost every aspect except a couple things, my engine doesn't sound like yours, sounds way... less sharp? Is the way I'd put it, and way louder. Heard it could be an expansion joint in the exhaust but I'm asking for second opinions just about everywhere. Now for this big problem. When I'm accelerating in D, engine hunts a lot between 1500-1700 RPM, feels like it's shifting, not trying to lose the transmission so I'm getting the fluid flushed asap. I already changed the spark plugs and mass airflow sensor. Last important thing, it shifts fine when I manually select 1, then 2, then D3, then D. It's only while accelerating in D and while at certain speeds in D that it acts like this. Any suggestions and/or insight would make my day, thank you!
