Is it just me, or is this FPV video just mind blowing because its so pretty? GoPro cameras and stable flight gyro's sure make it beautiful.
I must say this made me tear up a bit. The videography and editing is superb. The landscape and countryside is breathtaking and the music overlay is seamlessly appropriate. Thumbs up and five stars!
so crazy to come back and watch this after nearly 14 years when we have fpv cinewhoops and lifters shooting high budget advertisements and chasing extreme sports athletes, and drone racing on espn. you really introduced the world to this stuff!!
I have seen a lot of FPV videos and right now this is the BEST video I have seen.

Fantastic stuff! I really love the scenes flying through the trees and down the paths, it makes a refreshing change to higher altitude stuff.
I am beginning to think that perhaps tri-copters are the best platform for making interesting FPV videos as you can get closer to things, fly slower, do nice interesting turns, focus on details. I think that I have to make myself one!

Can't believe I got to travel the world flying a craft made from three wooden sticks and that used foam blocks as landing gear 😆
Also that this footage was considered super smooth back then 😅

@bolshoy75 This song is an slow mix of a song that came from a old SNES game named Chrono Trigger. Dont know if the artist name in the tag for the file i have is the original maker of this song but his name is Yasunori Mitsuda and the song has the same name as the game so you´ll might be able go from there to find the exact song used in this butifull vid.
hello dadde87, I think the footage of your piloting skill is superb, I would like to build a craft like this, as I have a 6ch 2,4Ghz rc helicoptor which I must say I can not even get it of the ground, but the way you show this craft in flight is amazing, could I ask of your help in to showing or sending a build list of materials and diagram needed to make a great craft such as yours, many thanks Chris from Nottingham UK.
Looks awesome David. I have been loving my Tricopter. Thanks so much for the help with the build. I am using APC props and switch the right front to a counter rotating prop. This works greatly reducing yaw torque. I just picked up the Hero HD. What setting did you use here and did you use any stabilization software like deshaker? Great work mate!

amazing image quality and some impressive maneuvering...was that shot in 60fps and slowed down to 24fps?...how come you can a see a fpv bloke at 4:10 and also 6:37? Is that the rc hotel that they lend you these hovercrafts so there are many people fpving?

Also David...I am assuming since you are using the Hero, you are also using a separate downlink camera? I am hoping the firmware upgrade will be available soon to use the live feed video from the Hero.

you had somebody riding you around when you were flying along the paths? i dont see how your gear could keep LOS without doing that...
Hi! I'm looking to make a tricopter. I have no past experience with electronics. I do Computer Science at university, and its my second year. Are there any good guides out there for people like me? Cost isn't a problem, but cheaper is more economical. I want to use it for AP.
