Moral. Don’t make someone work on their birthday.
Yep. Or the weekend
I work on my birthday, and I don't shot the place
As a rule, I NEVER work on my birthday.
No the moral is fireman are scumbag
@@Nameless82284
But you are dead on the inside...
"firefighters are scumbags" Apparently, Cleveland learnt nothing from his own show
I dont get that one. Please enlighten me.
@@christofferjenzen78
In the Cleveland Show there was a wannabe rapper who also hated firefighters in an episode for no good reason and he had to shallow his words when his house caught fire (There was a party at the moment), only to switch to hating the coast guard
@@user-unos111Kanye was that rapper
thats actually the reason why the scene got deleted

Missed opportunity to describe actual postal grievances.
Yeah, I was pretty disappointed that they didn’t do that
But then it wouldn't be funny.
@@ralfthecat270 honestly it wasn't that funny to begin with

Care to explain what actual postal grievances look like?
Lois was born rich, she wouldn't get it.
What the hell is wrong with you? 😭
Peter provides birthday items in his various lines of work, so that's probably what she's basing it on.
They never do
I believe in the Peterverse (like what I did there?) Lois’s father cut her off after she married Peter. So she probably has some idea.
@@MrRolyat98 According to Family Guy lore before he did that he offered Louis like a million dollars and she turned it down and it pissed him off really fucking bad, like a spit in the face. So Carter cut her off after that.

As a dairy farmer born on Christmas, we know what it’s like to work on our birthdays. We hate it too, Cleveland.
Why I honestly would rather raise Horses or Bison. Cattle are too much work.

These are true American hero's and I salute them as such
I bought cake to work on someone’s birthday. Got a hug afterwards.
The thing about fireman is kinda true not all are like that but it is there. Alot of married firefighters end up in divorce in my area
Hey those guys are the ones expected to run into fires. If the price I gotta pay not to not have to do that is to give "too much credit" to them then I'll pay it
@@salsamancer I mean most people don’t like firefighters or police anymore. Some cities are even trying to get rid of both.
@@Derekmilewskipolice I understand cause they arrest innocent people all the time, but who hates firefighters? I literally hear nothing about firefighter hate
@@ManiacX1999 That's the problem, any issues a firefighter might cause tend to get swept under the rug. But some people who are firefighters live like there's no tomorrow and no consequences, so they tend to do a lot of drugs, drink too much, start fights and force themselves on women; and then when they're called out on it they can expect the local government to protect their abhorrent behaviors since they're doing such an important and dangerous job. It's kind of the same problem as professional soldiers, if your job might get you killed you're almost expected to be halfway crazy.
Is it true there's a shrine of Dennis Leary in every Firehouse?
They literally went Postal

Gone Postal
Working at the post office, they never liked to talk about the guys who “go postal” but, I understood why it happens.
In the post office, rural carriers have to provide the vehicle (converted to right hand drive [which costs a few thousand]) for the privilege to work every day of the week in multiple week stretches with a single day off.
The supervisors are always pushing for faster delivery but, pay lip service to safety. They really care about is “Will you make truck?”
If you get into an accident, from exhaustion and overworked, it’s your fault and you will be written up to fired. The apprentices are hunkering down to “earn a route” (i.e. waiting for someone to retire).
If you get fired, all that sunk effort and money is for nothing. When a supervisor can just take away everything you have and your livelihood, suddenly the prospect of going “postal” makes a madman’s kind of sense.
And this is where the term "going postal" comes from. Not because of working on your birthday...but postal workers being true vigilantes in this unfair mail delivery world. Lol
This footage reminds me of Superman showing up in his 1995 black and silver to avenge STEEL. Terrill TC
Wait, this was really the deleted scene? I swear I saw this in the episode.
I feel so too but looking it up it looks like it was deleted.
@@MassivePonyFan Hm. It really is a deleted scene which also explains the lack of sound effects. Maybe I've only seen it in some deleted scenes compilations.
No it was in the episode
You see, much like the twin towers these scenes get deleted in post, with the fear mongering about everyone with a gun is a mass shooter, something that is lighthearted about the topic like this scene would be deleted
@@foxythechampagnefox8030 broadcast or DVD? (The DVDs are less censored.)
Came here after the FedEx shooting.
Postal Post workers with a Scambag fireman cherry on top. I love deleted scenes. 😂
and thats why they call it "going postal"

Funny thing Is I can identify two of those people as IRL shooters. The first one I dont know but the second one is the infamous patrick sherrill who killed 14 and injured 6 and then shot himself in Edmound, ok on august 20th 1986 and the term "going postal" came from his shooting. Sherrill however wasnt smiling while shooting people according to survivors. The third one they just changed the first name and he was joseph harris who killed two and then was in a police standoff for 4 1/2 hours on october 10th 1991 in ridgewood, new jersey. The night before he killed his supervisor with a katana and then shot her supervisor. He died in prison.
Neat trivia
The First Guy was probably James Brook of the 1983 Incident, had a .38 Pistol
They went postal
Knowing Family Guy's record I'm surprised they didn't referenced actual instances of this happening

You could say they went postal
It's only deleted because they insulted firemen
The Postal Guys carrying Shotguns Reminds me of Carl from Dead Rising 2.
You would think the supervisors would have learned their lesson by now
No because its too easy to replace them. This is not me being cynical, I actually work for the Post office. Supervisors are so easy to replace that there are times that active carriers work as supervisors if they are waiting for a position to open up in another office.
I always have to work on my birthday

As an LA County Firefighter this is absolutely true. No one cheats on their wife like a firefighter.
Couldn't they use a sick day for their birthday? Just wondering
This seen was canceled?I remember watching it on TV.
Oh hey Jerry and I have the same birthday
Wait a sec how did others kill them to have statues of them
this scene was taken down by the post office
Why is it so blurry and quiet
To resolve this issue, they could I don’t know, request the day off?
What about david berkowitz?
Soooooo... these guys went postal
0:20 at this point other than kids, who hasn’t worked on their birthday?
So do post workers not have vacation days to use on their birthday?

So basically, this is a hall of infamy for mailman that went pardon the joke, but they pretty much created the term "going postal".😅 I know it's bad but it's true
15:00 Damit, close the dam door
As sick as it is, what Cleveland said at the end of the scene is kindaa funny
Eh, it looses a bit of its humor when you remember the people who wrote that line probably live in cushy homes in L.A and have never known a single hardship in their life.
@@curnott6051 I spent some time as a firefighter and can attest to the fact that some to most of them are scumbags. Not just like, say sexist or racist things when none of the people who could get offended are around scumbags, like, broke the law, committed crimes and stole shit and got away with it because the cops are on their side, scumbags.
@@curnott6051ok. I don't know how that factors into ironic humor
@@Anpm53bis I mean, it's not really ironic humor imo. It's just someone making a blunt statement. There's not even a subtle hint of irony, or something that could hint at a joke.

Seth Macfarlane: complains that Congress doesn’t do enough about gun control
Also Seth Macfarlane: makes a joke where post office workers idolize and justify mass shooters, knowing full well kids will watch his show even though he says it isn’t a “kids show”.
Where are the sound effects
Deleted scene I believe
I think this one was deleted for that fireman joke, I what network would want to be known as the one that called firmen scumbags.
they made fun of firefighters a bunch of times. It was probably pulled because of the reference to mass shootings
