Everything inside the red border has to be filled, not only the artboard. The ones you made here will each have a white border or "bleed" when they are printed, and once they get cut, some will end up with white edges that you don't want.

@@kitchencook2573 just draw a rectangle and fill with your background color
You need to pull your design to the bleed edges, especially when you have dark backgrounds and graphics on the edges otherwise, when the cutting is done, you will have white where the bleed is, you also need to have save guides to ensure that when the cards are cut that the design is not too close to the edges.

@@shehroztariq0 i agree with the fellow above, show properly or not at all, if what he wanted was "how to design a buisness card" it would be fine. But making it without the bleed and the crop lines it's not a good lesson. I hope is other tutorials are better lol

At the time you played with direct selection tool to avoid any disturbance in shapes i was doing the same but my shapes were not selecting properly can you tell which version you are using and also how can we make exactly the same as yours as you showed in the thumbnail?

I have questions about guides. Guides must be lock in layer? One more question, should i delete guides after finish my design or i need upload it to the market with guides?? I mean safe zone guides or bleeds if i do it with Photoshop, and why u didn't put safe zone guides? Thank you.

eka eka you don't have to worry about them guide lines whenever you print the project. They never appear

what do you do when its finished so you can print them? what format do you export at so i can send them to a company to print etc.?
Printing is a different process. Normally creating business cards we need to use Adobe InDesign.
The video should be little bit slow inorder to understand which tool or opinions you are selecting.
