Think it's disgusting how WWE operates with its staff. Putting wrestlers as independent contractors while banning them from working for other organisations is immoral.

Foley, like Bret and Austin deserved better treatment from the company they help make but Vince seems genuinely sociopathic and only thinks of himself
I always wondered if they ever recommended that to Stacy. Its too bad. Just because she didn't have knockers like sable, doesn't mean she wasn't just as valuable of a diva.

@@jamesbyersmusic oh yes I agree with you about sable. I just pulled a name as an example of the kind of look that was expected during that time. Let's say from sunny to.... The mid 2000s when lita and Trish were the top divas of the company. With very few exceptions to any of the females that had significant tv time.... t&a was part of how women were used. Molly Holly and Ivory might be the two exceptions during that time but even ivory did swimsuit photo shoots, etc. I can see where Vince or his cronies would suggest that Stacy "complete her look" by getting breast enhancement surgery. Hell even vinces own daughter did!

@steven henry explain.... I mean tell me how she did? I don't think she was better in the ring despite years more experience. Sable was pretty trash on the mic but Stacey was worse. Sable wasn't too bad as the milf bitch when she got back, she had improved on the mic. Sable was infinitely more popular with the fans and the mainstream ( bar Stacey hooking up with Clooney) I'm just not sure how Stacey was better? Better for you maybe? As in you tugged it to her more? Sable drew more money and was no worse in the ring or the mic, sold more merch. Hell she had better legs than Stacey and that was her calling card ffs.
There's very few big name wrestlers that haven't had problems with Vince McMahon but for all Mick Foley did he really did seem to get treated like crap

It would take a Herculean effort beyond the range of most mortals to stay mad at Mick Foley.
WCW was #1 in tv ratings for 83 weeks, WWE put the belt on Mick Foley and that streak ended. He later went on to sell more merchandise during his run as the face of the WWE by selling have a nice day nice 🙂 t-shirts, dude love t-shirts & cactus 🌵 jack T-shirts and even Mr sockos.

I am not surprised that Mick Foley had to go all the way through this after everything he did for the company you would have figured that he would get more money just because of his body taking more damage than any other wrestler in history

Vince has always wanted to control the lives of his wrestlers Hogan is a prime example
Hogan was winding down his career and had told Vince that he need to take some time off and get his body repaired so they do the knee replacement they do the hip replacement and he gets one little gig at a pay-per-view making an appearance with Muhammad Hassan
There were difficulties when he had to wrestle Shawn Michaels for that pay-per-view because he needed more procedures done and Vince wouldn't hear of it and after that match he had to get a spinal treatment done because he had reinjured his lower back
While he was filming his reality show Vince made Hogan sign a lifetime contract which would meant compensation while he didn't wrestle and ultimately he got out of it because that wasn't going to work but that's just the way Vince's brain worked
There's so many people that he's come back to and said I can't do this so I can't do that he screwed Bret Hart out of the belt out of his career because he didn't want to pay Bret Hart he let Shawn Michaels almost get paralyzed and not protect him he allowed other wrestlers to become severely injured and then they had to sue to get money to pay for the operations to fix their injuries

The Stacy Keibler story is just bizarre and uncomfortable to hear. So he goes up to someone he barely knows and pretty much comments that she has small boobs but don't change them? And he acts like this is an incredibly noble thing to do.
In hindsight Foley has really lost a lot of his luster. He seems to be kind of a pain in the ass to work with. He constantly has problems constantly pissing and moaning about this and that. Retiring, unretiring it was just always something.
