Good start- I will surely watch you progressing. We live in Pacific Northwest and have at least 6 deer in our yard daily. Best part- we see newborn fawns. Worst part, the deer use our yard is a toilet, so I have to be diligent as I like walking barefoot.
We live in the Mt. Hood foothills, a few miles before Government Camp. We get lots of critters. But my dogs' presence keep our property pretty clean on the most part. We occasionally get a bear.

@@feffiescottage No bear, but lots of coyotes across the street- lots of foresty-looking land borders a man-made lagoon.
