Fun video, you don't see too many of the intermediate (72-75) jeeps around. Lots of carry over from the kaiser era, your transmission should be a t-14 or t-15 if its a 3 speed, or a t-18 if its the 4 speed. Also you should have a dana 20 transfer-case assuming its original. The dana 20 is essentially the same dimensionally as a dana 18, but has a centered rear output. Very cool jeep, glad to see other people getting out there and really using them.
I had a 71 AMC CJ5. Build date was 10-70. Interesting that it had a rear tank. Who knows how much these things were cobbled over the years. Cool video. One of my favorites.
Trail tip. If a heater hose starts leaking, you can use your vice grips to pinch the end of the hose instead of taping the crap out of it or fold the hose and use a zip tie to keep it folded and crimped
I had a 1979 cj7 304 engine 4 bb carburetor 600, the engine was completely rebuilt,I had it for over 20 years. Lots of fun sold it

I daily my 77 CJ5. People think I'm crazy but I love it. There is something magical about the old Jeeps.
