She was always trying so hard to fit in with groups that really didn't want anything to do with her. It took her some time to realize that they weren't worth giving so much of herself. She doesn't talk about it in the Honda Stage performance, but she crushes this song there, if you ever get a chance to check it out.
I don't think this is her objectively _best_ music video....tbh, Your Blood might take that spot. But this will always be _my favorite_ of her music videos. I just love the....aesthetic vibe. It's SO Nordic. I love the colors....crystalline white, silvery blue, verdant green, volcanic black. I also just love her _look_ in this. That cool dark dress, her hair...with the undercut and two thin braids in front. It's just COOL.

Of corse you are right it is also about more adult relationship (as it has general meaning), but her original was a little different. I find it really interesting how people feel free to criticize when it's online. You can be as rude and cruel as you want to and not really face any consequences. What would have been the harm in not commenting if you couldn't relate to what he was saying? I guarantee that there is someone who watches this that can, and they will feel less alone for the share.
