Another song from Aurora that expresses self renewal and compliments this song is ( Forgotten Love).

Although the lyrics fit adult relationships perfectly, as Aurora has explained in some of her live performances, most of it was written when she was a child. She was always trying so hard to fit in with groups that really didn't want anything to do with her. It took her some time to realize that they weren't worth giving so much of herself.
She doesn't talk about it in the Honda Stage performance, but she crushes this song there, if you ever get a chance to check it out.

I don't think this is her objectively _best_ music video....tbh, Your Blood might take that spot.
But this will always be _my favorite_ of her music videos.
I just love the....aesthetic vibe. It's SO Nordic. I love the colors....crystalline white, silvery blue, verdant green, volcanic black. I also just love her _look_ in this. That cool dark dress, her hair...with the undercut and two thin braids in front. It's just COOL.

Cool comments. I guess your comments reminded me a cooperation of Aurora with Askjell and the song called: "To be Loved" :).
She wrote I Went Too Far when was very young (like 9 or 10). Of corse you are right it is also about more adult relationship (as it has general meaning), but her original was a little different. Some quotes from Aurora:
    "Aurora explained to The 405:
"It's a reminder of how important it is to not give yourself away for anyone else's love. Way too many people tend to stay in relationships where they go through verbal and physical abuse. It's a huge issue that needs awareness."
In a BBC Radio 1 interview she said:
"We sometimes go too far for the approval and love of someone else, when we should really just learn to love ourselves and that should be enough."
"When I was 9 I wrote most of this song. I watched someone brave and kind not demanding the respect and love they deserved. Growing up, I realized these things happen all around us. And we need to learn to be kind to ourselves and demand to be treated right. We all have the chance to climb up the ladder.""

I think this song can be relatable to most people in some way.
She won the Norwegian Grammy for the music video :)
There’s a video where she explains the filming of the MV.
It’s interesting, I’ll leave it below, hopefully it won’t be removed.

I find it really interesting how people feel free to criticize when it's online. You can be as rude and cruel as you want to and not really face any consequences. What would have been the harm in not commenting if you couldn't relate to what he was saying? I guarantee that there is someone who watches this that can, and they will feel less alone for the share. You do you man, but there is never a reason to be mean and rude!

No , sounds like a lonely man , Jeez we've all been there and its unfortunate but thats life, we all get over it in time ,i know i have many times but i wouldn't mention it on- line and I bet neither would you. Its a reaction video , lets have a breakdown of the lyrics ,an opinion of the content and visuals , its not a big ask is it.
