I have 3 different profiles for YT, long story, but I'm watching this series on the one I can't add comments with. I agree with you on the Lights themselves. The Tribars look great but with those lights it's too busy. I've never been a fan of those lights in the first place. Love'en the build that's for sure.
yeah im still on the look out for a retro style reflective headlight that is led...but I think im just going to put the stock headlight back in and change it to a led bulb so it will retain the oem look.
totally agree on the newer LED headlight kits, while they very effective the crazy shapes dont reflectthe old school vibe. for this reason i just use LED bulbs in the OEM housings. still tons of LED light way brighter than stock, without looking out of place.
yes sir I think thats what im going to go back with...I have an OEM headlight and actually still have the LED bulbs I used to run in my Street glide back in the day...my thoughts exactly. I cannot for the life of me find an old school reflector headlight that is already LED. I take that back I did find one company that made them for older cars and they were about 300 a piece...ill pass lol
Nice install - love the retro look that these rings give. If I had the Aux lighting on my Freewheeler I would probably add these rings. Another great video Steve, thanks.
First time seeing them I like the way they look. My tool of choice for that little nut on the running light ring is a small pair of needle-nose vice grips and they help with reassembly. I know without the vice grips I would drop that little nut and it would be gone forever.
I have them on my 06 Road King but still have the halogens, and I personally think it looks more that old school look, and the Halogen lights are fine for me as I started driving when it was still the incandescent. Haha. Cool video
Today i tried doing this exact set-up on my 2014 Street Glide. As for the visor headlight trim. I gave up because I couldn't figure out how to fit it around the OEM ring. And Hogworkz suggestion didn't work either. I did however get the Lucas Tri Bar on there so that's good to go. When it came to the passing lamps the visor trim with the Lucas Tri Bar acted like it didn't want to fit. I even tried the tri bar with the OEM trim and it was the same thing. You make it look so damn easy but it's a pain in the ass. Also my passing lamps came with some foam inserts. What the hell is that for? lol. I watched your video at least 50 times to see if i missed something. I am at a loss second guessing myself like maybe i need to use more force to get them on there or what. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks for tolerating my venting. 🙂
What are the brands of L.E.D. passing lamps that you like the look of? I'm curious, because I would like to get some that are good, but that are more old school looking.
I am still on the search for them..I did find some on a classic car website but they wanted 400 each for the lights...I passed lol..I will eventually find some..was looking again yesterday.
@sikbaggers have the 105th anniversary Roadking ..Copper/Black Looking to put Copper accessories on it and think those would look cool on it. Thanks for putting out these videos
I’m packing my stuff right now getting ready to leave for Daytona this coming Friday at noon, I have to do a 3 hole oil change, adjust the clutch and final drive belt one night this week after work and I’m gone !
@@sikbaggers we are going to be there on Saturday the 5th and leaving on Friday the 11th, I wish I had a way to contact you other than on here because I would really like to shake your hand and have a beer together And I concur about a break, we have been on 10s and 12s for so long I can’t even remember and almost every Saturday for 8s and if the US gets pulled into the Russia mess there is no telling how many hours we will be working
Sorry for the late reply, just got back from Sturgis, here are some from v twin on ebay 4-1/2" Chrome Bullet Style Spotlamp Trim www.ebay.com/itm/163836913041
Love your videos . They have been very helpful. I’m installing chrome fork lowers . To move my tank back to disconnect my lights do I have disconnect my speedometer to move the tank back?
Nice I agree those new led headlamps don't look good if your trying to keep that old school look. It looks like an insect eye or something. I used my a oem headlamp with bar and shield logo and ended up finding a nice led bulb to put in it works great been a few years still working. Love the videos keep it up 👍🏼
yes sir.I think thats what im going to do...I have some LED bulbs here that I pulled from a street glide ..however the bike came with these and I didnt get the take offs so I will have to find one on ebay or a swap meet..shouldnt be hard to find.
Yeah sorry John..I was so fixate on the headlight issue that I didnt even thin about it...I will in a future video for sure when I work out this headlight
Steve , I checked my transmission fluid and didn't see a drop . I made a video 15 min ago on my channel. If you don't mind check it out. Incase I measured the level incorrectly. Thank Pete
Hey bro...yeah you did it right.,.room tempature, on jiffy stand, screw it all thee way in and the back out....id be pitching a bitch fit at that HD for sure..that key fob says "brake" for a reason...thats not all fluids. Id take that shit right back to them. And dont worry about calling out that HD in SF....call thier asses out. Sometimes they need it.
@@sikbaggers thanks for commenting, I appreciate it. This was the Harley Davidson mechanics bike . If he didn't care about his bike why would he care about his customers bikes . Not I place I'll ever visit again. Take care Steve , Pete from Fresno CA

Man all your videos are cool thanks I got a 08 deluxe & swapping those rims out was a big help for me to do my own

there is quite a bit of slack in there on those wires..just pull gently.
@@sikbaggers awesome! Thanks for all your help.
Very Help Video
Cool upgrade. I think it looks good on the auxiliary lights. Not a fan of it On the headlight. Great build series! Thanks for the great content.
Thank you Matt...yeah the headlight throws me off...im still in search of a reflector style LED headlight. I think that will make all the difference.
I’ve been looking for these for years but never got the damn name! Been wanting to add some to my Yamaha
they seem to very difficult to find in the 4.5 inch but the 7" are pretty common.
@@sikbaggers my passing lamps are 3 1/2 inch, I’ve had no luck at all with that size.
i have a question, is that stalk paint on that softtail? i really like that color combo!
yes, 2015 amber whiskey, charcoal pearl combo...oem color
@@sikbaggers that's great man...it really is beautiful..perfect color combo
Good day sir, quick question on the 4.5 inch does this Wyatt Gatling comes as a set of 2 units or you bought 2 units? Is there a pair on each package?
You will get them in a pair
Have you done the handlebar install video on the cholo bike yet?
Not yet sir..coming right up as soon as we get back from daytona!

Can you tell what led bulb that is? Like to go led for my 2010 road king classic, but don’t like the new style led headlamps on a classic.
Agree. New school (led) and old school tri bar doesn't work together. Thanks for the videos.
Yes sir Mark..ill have to work that out for sure. Love the old school look though
Steve, Wyatt Gatling is part of V-Twin
i figured as much but couldnt find it listed on the website..thanks for clarifying!
Steve Great Tri Bars Definitely looks nice but have to agree the Dynamic lights have to go 😆
Yeah Jim..its driving me nuts lol..i think ill swap her out for a OEM and slap a LED bulb in there
Wish you would have turned them on!
