Lmao I love how Brandon goes "So a cop pulls you over..." and Elizabeth is immediately like 🤦🏾♀️
i don’t think that was brandon lol
Syd was like "nauuuurrrrrrr" LMAOOO
10:09 That was Ryan, but still true tho 😂
Lmaooooooo 🤣🤣
Frrrr she said 🫣 lmaoo
Syd has a good point tho, pretending to be white in this situation seems easier coz there's a lot of things you don't have to say and things you don't have to word carefully lol
The creator of these "Guess the race" videos really do have found a loophole. By always picking someone that was raised in the other culture they can never be accused of acting on race stereotypes to fit in. It's just "No, I was raised this way".
I feel like it’s not a “loophole” per se as much as a microcosm of how we are changing the way we look at race and culture as times progress
Like Toasts said, if the white group asks black questions it is not that hard to lie about it. The strat was just bad. It is easier to have the person stick out rather then finding the person sticking out.
Really just a reflection of different people's realities. Being mixed, I was raised by my white mother, trying to be my black father in my predominantly Hispanic community I grew up in. I'm not Hispanic at all but my upbringing makes me more similar to second generation Latino Americans than the black or white I actually am.
It shows how it’s not skin color, it’s culture
wish we got someone who didn't grow up in the certain life style
Get 6 people of the same race, blindfold them all, then say there’s 6 different races and you have to figure out who is who. See what happens.
Oh tht be the type of chaos I'd pay good money to see lmao
It's just chaotic enough to work.
They tried that and all the contestants murdered each other so they never aired the footage or tried the concept again
I personally want to give a lot of money to a group of flat earthers to go around... Sorry... Across the world, and do experiments, if it doesn't prove the earth is flat, someone is out.
Now thats an idea
They need to do “1 white guy and 4 black guys” but it’s actually just 5 white guys all pretending to be black
Alright, this is something I could get behind
Sydney cracking up whenever someone says something Very White is absolutely hilarious.
That DSG buy is the greatest thing to happen to Toast fans since butter 💀
Forcing toast to be a content warlord to make money 😆 we are eating good now
@@seffer1838 lmao so truuuuu 🤣🤣🤣
If you're 500k down the drain toast better feed us all lmao.
Ryan messed it up for everyone lmao asked all the wrong questions and steered everything the wrong way
He did a really good job at proving he is white 😂
Syd raising her eyebrows at Brandon saying “Come on man, look at me” had me dying.
Can I also say I love the Syd Toast dynamic there’s something challenging here. It’s not the same Lily Toast brother sister energy but I’m here for it.
@@Sup123-d2t syd has a boyfriend though unless ur trolling
@@Sup123-d2t see I just don’t wanna be that person. I feel Ike they’d be so stupid cute together but they’re also people so I don’t wanna be like SHIP all over the Internet.
@@taylortorres2131 she posted on Twitter in like May that they broke up.
@@Sup123-d2t Y'all need to stop with this weird ass shipping thing 💀💀people did the same with Miyoung and Toast, and I don't think they've interacted in months
Gotta appreciate how Syd is both delivering hot takes to the people on screen, but is also super forgiving of Toast's 135382 missteps.
LMAOOO. but it's surprising how much stuff she says that applies to chinese culture too. like what she said about "the blacks". for chinese people, it's "the chinese" and it's always followed with derogatory speech. i think toast is just one of those dudes who are not very invested and this stuff anyway, so he's just struggling through the whole video one misinformed take at a time
@@hyukleberry5567 Nah. you know toast is one of those people who find the whole we need to talk this way ridiculous but cant say anything cause he will get canceld
@@JosefZeethuven nah toast actually has friends unlike yall. he's definitely trying to learn and improve

@@min-fel Your comment is as grammatically correct as mine is
Toast is going ham with these videos and i am all for it.
Gotta bait all our favourite streamers into buying an e-sports org!
Syd makes so many good points in this video, the generalizations that people make about the black community are so dumb sometimes. I relate to Elizabeth's story of being followed home by the police in her hometown, because the only time I've been pulled over was outside my parents house in my mom's car but the cop was following me for 15 minutes he was in an unmarked cruiser. All seriousness aside, I'm loving the Syd and Toast collab videos, I hope we get more.
there are 100% things that happened to me as a white person that I know for a fact black people dont know about or understand. Situations they’ve never been in and never will be. Its not a good or bad thing, its just the way it is. It goes both ways. But a lot of white people just don’t want to admit it or talk about it.
This was painful to watch, but I couldn't stop.
Very painful
I hope toast gets the bag from this vid so we can get some more DSG
i like more syd and toast collabs for sure.
6 white 1 black = 6 people trying not to be offensive
6 black 1 white = 1 person trying not to be offensive
the way elizabeth played real ditzy the whole time was brilliant, that's what sold her imo
5 videos in the past 2 days whattttt
the editors are grinding
Toast needing them money for DSG ⚔
he did lose a lot of money by creating DSG and now he needs more to keep it in the running
Ain't no way that dude pulled a Cartman and brought up Black Panther to try to find the mole lmfao this the kind of person South Park makes fun of its fucking sending me
Haven’t finished this but I think it’s be way easier to come across as white, now am I biased because I grew up in a predominantly white area maybe; however, being black in America means needing to code switch for a multitude of reasons even if you were raised in a predominantly white area.
100% agree
I love how Kylie said that being blindfolded for so long was weird when she was the one who had to wear it the least
they keep it on even if they are out
Toast and Syd are such a good combo 😂😂😂
Sydney’s so good at reacting
Syd validated my reaction to this because I ws just in a state of shock like this was peak comedy😭I WAS SCREAMING WHEN THEY TALKED ABOUT GETTING PULLED OVER I HAD TO STEP BACK.
He isn't posting often, but when he does, they are bangers.
i actually loving these videos with syd
Their whole concept of asking questions were blander than my spaghetti.
“If you ask questions you might be able to find something.” Man Ryan might be on par with Batman’s detective skills
🤣🤣🤣 "Hey Brandon.. So a cop pulls you over"
I'm dead I'm dead sir
I agree so much with what toast said about talking more about being white rather than trying to suss out who was black. I was watching it and wondering where was the like, “what was a time in your life that made you really aware of your white privilege?” “When did you realize your parents were slightly racist?” “When do you realize you yourself could be biased in that way?” “What are some problems that feel unique to being white?” I wouldve loved that discussion.
Right?! instead it was white people discussing black stereotypes using it as bait...
ah yes because only white people can be racist
What on earth is this mentality?? Is this what you define as being white? Priviledged with asshole parents..??
The only question that doesn't make sense is the racist one but yeah that would have been better then what they did
When did you realize your parents were slightly racist? 🤨
10:09 😂😂😂😂 their reactions are too good
Hjbbgbhb
Literally everyone’s reaction is 🤦♀️🤦♂️ except the dude who’s so confident about his question
@@ramenjd6239 😂😂😂
They tried so hard to not be seen as racist, they only asked basic questions.
so much content from the goat recently
All these recent videos truly been bangers
Here's what you do Toast. Get your viewers to send their hobbies, favorite foods, favorite movies, etc. Then you try to guess their ethnicity.
This is new fav combo both r preety unhinged
I'm liking the Toast/Syd content, more please.
I'm invested in seeing what these two come up with
I need more of syd and toast collab for sure
"People of colour" is definitely an HR corporate word
Mariah is the only there trying not to base from stereotypes lol
Can you detect who's secretly not using 500,000 qualifiers when they talk about race
NAH the Ryan guy was memeing for sure
The thing about the questions the White Americans put forth, is that the only examples they see of how Black Americans are, is how they are portrayed in the media. This is why I don't like a lot of the earlier "representation" in Hollywood, as it wasn't, it was either just virtue signaling, or parodying, and they only show the hot button topics about a minority group, and nothing else about those cultures is ever represented. It's not the white kids' faults that they can only think about rap music, being pulled over by cops, and what people think of Black Panther. That's all the media has shown them about black culture on a larger scale.
i’m loving this syd and toast content
You should invite Xiaoma. He is white but also very very chinese.
I love how they talk about old ways of referring to people...meanwhile, all of these were refuted by my teacher not wanting to hear it
yeah i use POC when talking about general issues (Im mixed race half indian half white) as obviously my experience as an indian women is different than a black women but we have some shared experiences too. but when talking about specifically black issues (eg BLM) i think just saying black/black people is better. But i also understand how fucking awkward it can be to navigate stuff. Im often read as white so i get to see a lot of mask off shit (Lived in a pretty racist areas, we have had neighbours call the police on us just cus my fam isnt white yk) so even if its cringe i appreciate the ones who try their best.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but they also didn't know what ethnicity the "impostor" was, only that they weren't white, and Black Panther was likely more popular amongst other POC than black people than it was with white people (albeit popular with them as well), so it would have been a fine application of the word.
A+ content. I prefer watching the reactions to the video itself but I'm glad Elizabeth won lol
Brandon knew too much
seventh person was like, why isn't there an eight
7:43
"and the blacks want!... not to be called the blacks.. sorry-"
-bo burnham
That was bad but for them being a mixed person and a Chinese person and getting all cringed out, I mean the white people basically took it as far as you can...being white. No one else is gonna get cancelled or called racist for asking the questions you have to ask.
Fuck me the last part of this was so hilarious 😂 thank you toast
“What did you guys think of black panther?” No wayyyy😭
Who is that pokemon
brandon "cmon man im clearly THE white guy"
BRO CODY JUST MAKES ME LAUGH
This stream was so hilarious
I can’t believe that dude said, “so a cop pulls you over…” absolute goober😂😂😂
I love the Toast and Sydney duo
Hard cut to them doing this and getting DESTROYED by a white dude
I feel so bad for Sydney 😅
The fact that they're not discussing "the white experience" as much as trying to find ou who is black is interesting, but not surprising. It illustrates a blindspot in American cultural dynamics, in that most white people would have a hard time identifying what exactly is white American culture, as it is the dominant cultural paradigm and all of its niches are at least familiar to non-white people (and implying otherwise comes off as racist "why can't black people listen to country music?"). Instead they'll have an easier time identifying what it isn't (ie. black, hispanic, asian, native), or identifying more specific cultural signifiers like state or specific European ancestry culture.
It doesn't help that they were told the "imposter" was specifically black instead of just being told that they're not white. They then tried to cling to their ideas of black cultural signifiers, because it was easier than finding white cultural signifiers.
Toast is tryna pull a Beta Squad with his idea. That video would be quite something tho lmao
168,283 views, 10k likes, 251 comments, 625k subscribers. Nice!!
What’s some good questions they could ask to find out who isn’t white? What makes it hard is Elizabeth was raised by white parents so if you asked something about growing up with white parents she would know the answer. If you ask anything stereotypical she could easily lie.
The content coming from the otv house let's gooo! Missed this
if I was to check who the black person is, I would check the hair, most black people don't have naturally straight hair
So many videos from Toast. He needs money for Valorant team :D
9:40 he did NOT need to do this salutation
4:10 i swear i thought he was just finna plug his shit
The thing that makes this one harder than most of the other "find the one who's a different race" challenges is that white people don't have as many shared cultural experiences growing up and the few that can be pointed to have already been showcased in movies and TV so much that they aren't exactly a secret.
Syd and toast are right that they were asking the questions backwards trying to find the black person instead of the non-white person, but I don't know what questions I would ask that all white people would answer the same and non-white people wouldn't know.
"can i feel your hair" easy
yo we eating good recently, loving the second channel content
I am a Walmart bag
more react and gameplay with syd!! i like this duo 💗
Bro what does black panther have to do with anything 😂
"Oh I'll watch but don't wanna be a part of it" lmao
The ending scene really validated that they just were deceptive, and didn't want to vote out Elizabeth. They all basically alluded that they knew she was to stereotypical. They figured her out within the first 1 or 2 rounds. Very deceptive.
Beta squad has done something similar. You guys should do it!
No no, you get six Asians and then the one White guy is that TikTok guy who speaks "perfect Chinese."
Toast and Sydney wondering why they weren't talking about their culture and hardships is hilarious
I'll be watching this video 5 times to support DSG. Maybe have it on repeat.
Ryan thinks he's so smart yet asked such cringe questions, pls stahp
So what we can learn from this, is that stereotypes do not "fit" that well if you did not grow up with them? That is very unexpected ..
The reactions of you two do add to it though.
because racial divisons are completely influenced by environments and are social constructs. quite literally has nothing to do with genetics
@@imaginater5238 it's not really a "racial division" as much as it is cultural differences, black people develop a seperate diphthong in black dominant communities, and develop different ways of living, communicating, and many other things.
But from what she revealed about herself it seemed she grew up with white parents, in a majority white community, so she grew up with caucasian cultural habits and diphthong
I dunno where I was going with this
Elizabeth is so not white name, I know many black people named Elizabeth and go by the name Liz or Lizzie.
Sydney has not weatched Black Panther? Didn't she go to the premier of the movie too
Ssshh don’t tell marvel
Maybe she watched 1 and not tge other
*the
11:27 Toast brings up the strategy of bringing up what they each go through as a white person. The problem with this approach is that there isn't a unifying experience across the race.
i remember watching this when it came out and thinking this girl reminds me of syd. crazy seeing her react
The Shang chi comment got me 😂
4:02.... Bruv you tryin to be Eminem? 🤣... But fr he's giving Eminem wannabe vibes 😭
Video idea…. OTV guesses the professional gamer
Similar style to the beta squad videos
I’m also black and white who lived growing up in a white neighborhood with a white mother. 😅 Blending in as a white dude is easy as hell, lol.
Oh god the recent videos 💀
"She's talking too much, why is she talking, stop talking!"
Brandon: "I think it's Elizabeth because she barely said anything*
😂
Lol when your a black metal head born and raised in Detroit …you can’t tell someone based on music/background
Been loving these regular uploads! They always make my day
I think that saying "the blacks" is super racist
I personally like to use the term "people with a higher percentage of meaning in their epidermis and who, totally unrelated to that, are more likely to steal your phone"
I find it more accurate and respectful
Bro I swear theyve never spoken to a black person in their life, or even seen a black person
