    My grandpa purchased a 440 72 imperial new, passed, to mother, son. The trunk would comfortably sleep 6. After 25 years, 75k miles, freeway floored, 137 mph. Land yacht with wings.

      Big car, big house, nice clothes and a pretty woman.

      Except she can't, when the first get into the car you see the guy using his "injured" arm to move the shifter and when they back out and go forward both her hands are on the steering wheel, it's hard to put the car in first from reverse if you don't take a hand off the wheel.

    • @oriontaylor
      @oriontaylor 27 дней назад +2

      @@milfordh.mercado2787 On the contrary, the 440 in those Imperials and Chryslers have a lot of low-end torque and they could handle very well for the size of car, by far the best of the full-size sedans. You’re thinking of Lincolns of that era, which had about the softest ride imaginable. Cadillac was somewhere between the two.

      @oriontaylor oh yes, my mind was thinking contiental and not imperal so i guess wrong 😅 but seriously that tr6 could be the miata of the 70s if driven by pro racer.
