I think it's a recurring theme in Nirvana's music to have a demo with better riffs, but a final product with better lyrics.
The riff seems the same to me, just a bit slower.
Both versions are awesome
Just improve and change the chorus lyrics to the final Blew version and this version would be set with the lyrics.
The lyrics are probably improv.
Buttercup III Kurt finished lyrics last moment. It’s expected for Early studio demos to be drastically different in the context of lyrics when it comes to nirvana.

I put the song in Audacity and isolated the vocals. Kurt was really mumbling on this one. Ronald's lyrics are really close, but I noticed some differences:

* With the isolated vocals the 'sp' is clearly audible.
** "Overdo" as in "overdo it and have a fit"! I guess "fit" means orgasm. ;-)

I like the drum break right after the solo.
I love how at the end of the "and if you wouldn't mind" lines he holds it in by the end of it. Such an odd detail i noticed, but its because i love to hear Kurt's voice in this version, the chorus sounds very Pen Cap Chew.
Ive been into blew for a while that now i can finally play it. This song is alot more fun to play than in bloom,teen spirit and all the others even mollys lips is fun to play

First time hearing this recording. I love it. The only thing I've noticed is that the drumming isn't as consitent compared to the one that is on Bleech album. Aside from that I love this version and the sound is pretty good :3

Chad’s playing gives me anxiety, he seems like he’s about to explode and drum hard at any moment but he just keeps the stale drumming. No comparison between both. Dave was and is amazing

Ok, anyone who says that live & loud version is better. You have your own opinion, I just don't give a flying fuck. That gig is terrible. That is just my opinion so f it, we all can have a debate. I prefer Teatro Castello and Amsterdam much better. Peace, love, covid19 emphaty.
Live and loud is definitely a bad live show. Seems like Kurt doesn't want to be there at all. I have been watching some of the Rokkslide show, it's definitely really good and there is pro footage out there, I'm wondering if there's gonna be another high quality DVD like the Paramount one, of Rokkslide... which would be so epic!!!!
