Quinn, big tip: if you ground stomp and "twirl" at the same time, you hone in on enemies. So you don't actually have to be right above the enemy, it will redirect you if you're close enough.

Quin, if you crouch when a Bullet Bill is chasing you, it'll crash into whatever's in front of you. So in the Megaleg fight, all you had to do was get a Bullet Bill to chase you and then crouch in front of the cages as opposed to flipping over them. Makes the fight a lot easier!

At first I was so sad that Donkey Kong lost to this, it's so fun to re explore old games and seeing your take at the same time. (hope you do a DK64 one in the future) But I'm so happy I don't need to play Mario Galaxy myself now. Never got around to play it myself, bc of motion controlls. haha !
If you have some trouble jumping right on enemies, try jumping, then spinning, and IMMEDIATLY press the crouch/stomp button. This way you will make an homing stomp (if you get it right you'll see a different animation). Keep up with the good content!
Really hope you play Galaxy 2 as well. Gets a lot of hate for being too similar to the original or sometimes too different depending on who you ask. But at the end of the day it's more Mario Galaxy and I can't get enough.
I was 30 when this came out and we used to come home from the bar and play this drunk…If you drink alcohol I suggest playing drunk one night it’s quite the experience lol…If I still drank alcohol I would play again for the memories but watching you play for the first time is just as good lol…
If you haven't already heard from a bunch of other comments you can spin and then ground pound to do a homing ground pound, however, this homing ground pound can also home in on non-enemy npcs, and if you remember, you can bounce on their heads without crushing their entire bodies. Trust me when I say, boiyoing.

If you jump, do a spin attack, and ground pound In that sequence, you can do a spinning ground pound.

If you ground pound while spinning mid air, it gives you a minor homing effect
Here's a tip Quin, you can do a homing ground pound if you do it during a spin
