You should definitely 100% this game. It is a great feeling!! But with this and wind waker, you are going full 2000’s.
Some pretty good games came out back then I’m not gonna lie, glad I’m finally getting to play them
But I don't think quin will do all 120 stars with Mario and Luigi, I don't think that'll happen

There are tons of little skips and Speedrun strats built into the game, it is a blast. Also a ton of great music

This game has some of the best sound tracks! This is probably one of the best mario games along with mario 64 and mario galaxy 2 and I hope you love it too I have over 5k hours playing this game thats how much I love this game hope you love it too! Sure the camera angles are really confusing but it still really fun!

Also, I agree with your friend! I think mario galaxy is even better than mario odyssey (it could be nostalgia talking, though). And mario galaxy's soundtrack is hands down the best in the mario series. I hope you enjoy this game as much as I did (:
While my memories of this game are exceptionally foggy, I do remember having a great old time with it! I do believe this is where my gamer completionist mindset started to develop, and that's because of how _fun_ it is to do every mission! Don't think I ever actually 100%'d the game, though....

Yup this is going to be another great series. I was a little kid like around 7 when this released in 2007 and i could not beat it for the life of me had to revisit it when i was 10 or 11 to actually 100 percent it. This is one of the most critically acclaimed games you are bound to have a great time.

There’s something with this game that just hits so hard. The atmosphere gives me a sad, but happy feeling
You can tell which games were made when by there controls. Making full use of that "you can now point it at a screen!!!" mechanic. But, in reality, I also got this for the Switch and I forgot just got much it messed with your brain the smaller worlds are the worse. It's just "move and hope you don't die".

No way! Quin!!!! This was my absolute favorite game as a kid. I 100% it actually 3 times because I was that obsessed. Then when the second game came out, I couldnt stop playing it over.
"I've been working on my anime death noise" followed by the most delayed, high pitched Mario "oh no" made me laugh way too much

why is captain toad blinding mario with his headlamp just so funny to me
The only speedrun strat I know of is just hecking spamming long jumps (so while holding forward, begin holding crouch and jump just afterwards, then hit jump the moment you hit the ground and repeat, iirc) I think it's the fastest way to cover any straight line distance.
Regardless, this was my first 3D mario game so nostalgia go brr, and I know I'm gonna love this. Thanks!

The whole beginning was a roller coaster. LOL Mario does look like he got in trouble, or is hiding something, while going down pipes. I never thought of that... LOL Your Toad voice was amazing. Sounded a little like the Toad was doing a Stitch impression :) also F for the recording freezing

Yes!! SMG1 and 2 are some of the best mario games ever! These games are like a masterclass in level design, for the vast majority of the time at least.

Heya! Quin playing my favorite mainline Mario game! (along with Galaxy 2, dont make me choose) this game is so precious, pls enjoy it thoroughly, good man c:
Also, maybe this is because I always played this in my Wii, but I 100% recommend playing with Joy-Cons, it feels soooo good. You dont have to raise your arm to aim the cursor, the left thin trigger (if I recall correctly, otherwise its the right one) automatically centers the cursor and you can aim with your arm lowered and just pointing by moving your wrist. I think its super fun to play that way!
Quin's small "No!" when the power up disappears makes me so sad-
Finally you are playing this game, belive me, there is nothing like seeing your stelar array get brighter with each defeated boss, also pls check out the storie told by roselia in the library, it's gonna make you cry hard
Hey Quin, i think you're going to live Mario Galaxy. It has an amazing soundtrack, great story, and Galaxy 2 is ok too, its just more linear. I personally prefer the controls on the wii version compared to the switch, but on the switch joy cons are better than the pro controller (for me, at least). Again, I think you'll like this, as I 100%ed it on both the wii and switch it was so good. Keep up the amazing work!

This was one of the first video games I completed and I have so many memories of this. Specifically, this is a game that I fell in love with, for the gameplay, the music, and for Rosalina. I don't know how to explain it, but even as an adult, I still have respect for her like a parental figure. Easily one of my top 3 games of all time and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
I know you have a list of games already to play, but I recommend adding Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2! I think you could possibly love it as much as LOZ
