My OEB just turned 12 weeks. Great ON/OFF leash. Can sit, heel, down and stay no problem. She still can show a little stubborness with "come" but were working on it. Shes pretty much a velcro dog. Loves me and wife equally regardless of who feeds her. Our shoes dont stand a chance. We keep a chair by the door where we put our shoes when we walk in the house. The potty training is slow progress. She is the fastest pisser in the West but thats common with this breed. So affectionate and loves to have fun. I hope yours brings you and your family years of joy ❤
That’s an amazingly obedient bulldog for 12 weeks old! But yeah, don’t leave an expensive shoes lying around. We put a baby gate up so Sterling can’t get to our bedrooms. This way, all of our high value items and hazardous kids toys stay out of mouth’s reach. Congrats on your pup! What is her name?
There is some truth to that, as OEB's are a recreated breed. OEB's are a combination of breeding pits, bull mastiffs and American bulldogs. Sterling is 8 months old now and looks more like a bulldog every day. She's starting to get stocky lol
Cute puppy and awesome job! It's been years since we had a pup, when a puppy wants to bite a limb, yelp and you'll know if you have a good girl if she starts licking where she bit. This helps establish that is unwanted behavior and rank, really helpful when she becomes an adult.
Thanks for the advice! I've been trying this with some mixed success. I'm sure like everything, it will take time. Getting a puppy is much like having a baby in the house again. Once they grow up, you forget how hard the 'young-in' phase can be!
I yelled “ouch” and you’d think the world ended! She definitely felt remorse, rolled over and took a bit for her to come back and couldn’t stop licking where she bit.
When you brought her home 1/7/23 Im assuming she was 8 weeks old? And weighed 9lbs? Or was she 10-12 weeks? Did you have her for 2 months by 2/20/23 making her 4 months old weighing in at 25lbs? Im picking ours up on Thursday.
Hi and congratulations on your new pup! Sterling was about 10-11 weeks old on 1/7/23 and 9 lbs so at 2/20, we had her about 6 weeks, she was about 4 months old with that 16 lbs weight gain. She just turned 8 months old this week and is 45 lbs now.
Gorgeous
Thank you!
We have one and we left her tail.. the one in this video doesn't have the flat looking face with the under bite but it's a beautiful little dog
Thank you!

This does not look like an OEB. At :38 I was convinced this is more a pit bull than Olde English.

@@ChickensBulldogsUrbanFarming and the main breed English bulldog you forgot.
50% english bulldog and the other half are a combination of the other 3 you mentioned.

@@BulldogTractor There isn't much space between excessive licks and excessive biting lol
I have an olde English Bulldog as pretty as yours. In the UK we don’t dock their tails which I prefer
How come it has no tail?
With OEB’s, the tails are commonly docked by the breeder, shortly after birth.
