Great review. Slick cut in the music from the various models. Note, for both US and CDN , if ordering from the Creative site directly, the Creative 67W Charger is free.
How would you say the bass in the X plus is worth compared to just the X? I have a sit stand desk and I think I could swing either, but I feel like is it worth 40-50 bucks for the sub?
just cancelled my order for Pebble Pro and decided to pre-order for the Pebble X instead right after watching this review. what a difference and upgrade (for the colour too!)
Sound may not be 100% what we'd experience IRL compared to a mic recording, but the difference is totally noticeable. The Pebble X is way better than the previous options.
Thank for the review. I have the pros. They are good for speaker for my Mac. The only thing is that I don’t like is the Bluetooth connection it makes. It’s so loud 😂. “Connected!!” So barely use it in Bluetooth. Just a question did they fix that on X’s
Just when I got the Pros exactly 2 months ago, a new one comes 😂 but still I bought the Pros because of this channel and I do appreciate you for giving your honest reviews 😊
Looking for a replacement for my elderly IBM speakers with enormous sub. I think the sub is starting to play up, but it still sounds good to me. You can stuff all the RGB on computers generally!
great review I sit up straight at my desk but I also recline back and game often do you think the angle of the drivers would effect sound in a poor way if my ears are more or less in line with the speakers? are these only worth buying if you sit up straight at your desk?
It sounds like the Pebble X is the move. They definitely outshine the previous offering. Maybe the next iteration will have a more powerful sub upgrade. 🤷🏾♂️ I couldn't be bothered with rgb on speakers. Great content, fam. Keep up the good work. 🍪🍪🍪
What I like about the X plus is the small size of the woofer. The drawback is probably what you mentionned: it doesn't add that much compared to the 2.0 x. Which is logical, because when it comes to woofers, size matter...
Now it does add some punch, and with the app you can even go in and turn it up but the Speakers themselves have a similar bass thump and I think it just applies universally. It would be great if you could tune the sub itself
for each test I completely changed out the speaker set. The speakers on the Pebble X and the X Plus are as close to identical as I can tell, if you check earlier in the review. But yes, when I switched to the Pebble X plus, I swapped the whole speaker set out.
Sooo… because creative included a convenient RCA output for the sub at speaker level voltage, you can actually use a speaker to line level adapter to bring down the voltage and basically use whatever subwoofer you want for those X Plus speakers. Have fun with that knowledge 😊
Just got these speakers in and they sounds great and look great with the sub but the app is horrendous to use, lights don’t change at all through the app
This is such a weird line of products to me. The first Pebble I kinda get, small form factor and very budget friendly. Then theres stuff like the V3 that I think sounds worse, then you start adding on subwoofers on the plus model, and now this where the speakers themselves are getting bigger and the subwoofer is starting to add "fancy" things like radiators and such which is very hard to do well at this price point. I think the Pebbles was a really good idea, but now they are wandering into the territory of much better products both size and price-wise imo. These are starting to compete with stuff like bookshelf speakers and entry level 5.1 systems now, and I dont think thats a fight they want to pick tbh.
the pebble x are interesting, but the price is so close to the edifier mr4 here in the uk to the point I don't think it's worth it plus the fact that the mr4 have been measured on a klippel nfs and that means you can eq them to neutral? no competition really
@elliottsalt still have less power than 1700 and less bass potential eq for either. Yes if you want to do some eq then maybe mr4, just make sure u dont want bluetooth or remote
@@gronk6805 I'd want to look at distortion measurements first, imo more power isn't worth it if one speaker can get louder than the other before passing a certain threshold. bluetooth can be added in with one of the many receivers out there, so I think the mr4 is worth it due to dispersion being something you cannot change. cannot argue with the remote though, would be really cool if edifier combined all the good bits from their speakers to try make an ultra good budget speaker. having a bunch of speakers doing different things might be good for keeping costs down though, but I would not know as I don't work for edifier.
OK, but the Pebble Pro's are under $50, and the X's are $85. It feels to me like the Pro's are a budget champion. There isn't anything that seems close to them for $50.
That would be insane jbl experience but maybe slightly cheaper and fully portable with anker powe bank? Can a power bank power the subwoofer version the pebble x plus ?
They are much better. But bad sound for the money. I'm missing the simple good and powerfull 2.1 systems like the Gigaworks T3/T4. They had no fancy functions, but just super duper good and powerfull sound for little money.
They are a drastic improvement over the Pebble Pro just by being black instead of alpine green
I know they are available in black in England
This decision to randomly release a green has bewildered me, they don't even make a black version in England afaik
Great review. Slick cut in the music from the various models. Note, for both US and CDN , if ordering from the Creative site directly, the Creative 67W Charger is free.

Great review ma man! Picking up the X Plus! 👍
just cancelled my order for Pebble Pro and decided to pre-order for the Pebble X instead right after watching this review. what a difference and upgrade (for the colour too!)
It's amazing that even hearing them through a microphone and headphones, you can notice a clear difference on the sound quality
sweet man sounds good I have the Creative to mine are 20 years old lol. They still work. But I like to upgrade soon gave a like. Great video man
🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Nice review... question is there a big improvement between the Pro and the X especially with the PD connected on both
Thank for the review. I have the pros. They are good for speaker for my Mac. The only thing is that I don’t like is the Bluetooth connection it makes. It’s so loud 😂. “Connected!!” So barely use it in Bluetooth. Just a question did they fix that on X’s
Hold down volume knob for a while to toggle voice
Love the review man!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cheers for the information mate 👍
Just to be clear, 2 usb cables are included in the box? (I’m assuming for both versions)
Just when I got the Pros exactly 2 months ago, a new one comes 😂 but still I bought the Pros because of this channel and I do appreciate you for giving your honest reviews 😊

So, what is the verdict? Did you stay with Pebble X or Pebble X Plus? :)
i got one pebble x plus and i love it,connect via sound card improve quality of sound.
Broo thx for saying that the sound card enchance sound quality, I've been seeing that it's locked on 16 bit 48khz
Bro what is that at 4:02 behind the left speaker?
great review
I sit up straight at my desk but I also recline back and game often do you think the angle of the drivers would effect sound in a poor way if my ears are more or less in line with the speakers? are these only worth buying if you sit up straight at your desk?
I am upgrading from the pebble pro to the pebble x plus because of you bro. Creative needs to pay you for your reviews!
I intend to get them but only use USB-C power from my work computer. Is it enough justification to go with the X or stick to one of the lower ones?
Can I connect these speakers to a monitor with a 3.5mm audio output?
I don't know if it's a mic thing, but I hear the pebble X sounds darker than the previous pro version. Isn'it DVZN Media?
It sounds like the Pebble X is the move. They definitely outshine the previous offering. Maybe the next iteration will have a more powerful sub upgrade. 🤷🏾♂️ I couldn't be bothered with rgb on speakers. Great content, fam. Keep up the good work.

Yeah they X is just such a solid choice man, anything over this and you're going to start looking at midrange bookshelf or studio monitors
It would be great if you could tune the sub itself
did you change the speakers to make the test or simply add and remove the sub? cause there are not the same speakers
for each test I completely changed out the speaker set. The speakers on the Pebble X and the X Plus are as close to identical as I can tell, if you check earlier in the review. But yes, when I switched to the Pebble X plus, I swapped the whole speaker set out.
They kinda remind me of the old clear spherical iMac speakers from the early 2000s. 🍪 👼
Oh yeah I remember those, how are you doing man?
Good. Just relaxing until winter goes away. Looks like you're already into summer temperatures there!
Can you do a comparison for all the creative stage soundbars and compare them with the pebbles.
Compared with the edifier g2000? which has better audio? bass? Thank tou!
I'll have to get my hands on a pair of those, I've heard big things about them, so that will be a good comparison!
Sooo… because creative included a convenient RCA output for the sub at speaker level voltage, you can actually use a speaker to line level adapter to bring down the voltage and basically use whatever subwoofer you want for those X Plus speakers. Have fun with that knowledge 😊
compare apple ipod mini to the Pebble x which is better ?
Just got these speakers in and they sounds great and look great with the sub but the app is horrendous to use, lights don’t change at all through the app
I'm not finding the Pebble X or X plus anywhere???
Check the link in my description, it's still on pre-order
Is there a BASS knob?
No they have pretty small bass anyway
@gronk6805 =(
@@JacReviewsStuff they have bass knobs
Great video, waiting your final veredict!
Is it worth paying for the sub??
The way its going I am expecting the Pebble V7 or V8 to be floor standing speakers with the size increase with each new version :D.
Lol I'm just waiting for them to release like the ultimate Pebble Studio Monitors under $100 each
Are they really that better than the Pros?

Ye mr4 is no brainer in comparison. They are a bit flat though so if you prefer more excitement then maybe 1280, 1380, 1700
@gronk6805 iirc the mr4 have better dispersion, so better to get them and then eq
@elliottsalt still have less power than 1700 and less bass potential eq for either. Yes if you want to do some eq then maybe mr4, just make sure u dont want bluetooth or remote

@elliottsalt good points
So which one do you prefer after all?
I still have a follow up video coming, but spoiler alert, the pebble X have not left my desk since that review.
I really like the look of nice bookshelves speakers, but I couldn’t spend the cash. Instead, I bought som component speakers with an amp from Amazon.
Which ones did you get?
@@DVZNMedia Aiwa SX-LM50 for $20 and Kinter K2020A+ Limited Edition for $30
@@DVZNMedia Used Aiwa SX-LM50 for cheap, paired with Kinter K2020A+. Technically, you can pair any speakers with a separate subwoofer with a 2.1 amp.
I knew after once your review made Pebble blow up, they’d make even better ones I gotta buy
Honestly, if you have the pro it's not a MUST BUY, but yeah they're taking a step from budget to premium
This is intriguing but at this price I think some Edifiers might be a better choice.
yep, prices be crazy on these "budget" speakers
might as well get a studio monitor at that price
So, do you think the Subwoofer is worth it?
Hate they no longer offer white versions ugh
👍🏾
OK, but the Pebble Pro's are under $50, and the X's are $85. It feels to me like the Pro's are a budget champion. There isn't anything that seems close to them for $50.
Imagine if they did surround pebbles. Like 5 of them surrounding you lol
Haha I might have to try that out, I think I have enough to do 8 all around me
That would be insane jbl experience but maybe slightly cheaper and fully portable with anker powe bank? Can a power bank power the subwoofer version the pebble x plus ?
👍🏽
I heard that adding the extra 30Watt power increases the noise floor. If that is so, guess it defeats the purpose of buying the Pebble X Plus
Hmm that would suck
They are much better. But bad sound for the money. I'm missing the simple good and powerfull 2.1 systems like the Gigaworks T3/T4. They had no fancy functions, but just super duper good and powerfull sound for little money.
I'll have to hear one of those to hear the comparison, especially for the price but I'm always down for better audio.
Sagly the Gigaworks T3 is outdated and no longer on sale. If you get some, check them out. Was a really good product with very strong sub
I would be using Linux so the software might not apply.
Hmm, I don't know if they have a Linux app, but out of the box they sound more than good enough!
Damn these pebbles x plus are 445$ in India lol :/
Whereas pebbles v2.1 plus are 40$
At this price, you can afford bookshelf from edifier with better sound, clarity and bass
Obviously creative want to milk this speaker for newbie
Pebble plus sounds the worst
жаль их в России нет
