    The Pro's can be turned off by pressing the knob for 2-5 seconds and releasing. Also the RGB can also be turned off by pressing the RGB button a few times. The volume knob controls the colors.

    If the difference can be heard like that via cell phone, I can imagine what the difference sounds like in person.

    What's more interesting is the comparison between Pebble Pro or Pebble Plus 2.1? Because it's quite predictable that the Pebble Pro has better sound than the V3.

    great comparison, thank you. shame they don't make the pros in white

  • @raheenb

    The sound is SO much better on the Pros. They actually have decent bass for the price.... it pretty much is night and day in my opinion. I'm returning the V3's and keeping the Pros (as i didn't find out they even existed until the week after i got the V3's 😅)
    ETA: Make sure you're using a 30W charger plugged into the PD USB port to activate the maximum bass level 💯

    Hey man..please can you check in your creative app - using prbble pro via USB..what is the audio quality on playback?..I have only one option and it is 16bit/48khz and cannot set anything else..no one in any review mentions that..this is lower than using BT..

    Thank you for the video! One of the differences you mentioned is the analog vs digital volume knob. What are the pros and cons of each one? What might be the reason to make Pro version with digital knob? Does it affect sound quality?

    • @ichd383
      @ichd383  5 месяцев назад

      So a digital knob means that when you adjust the speaker volume you are also adjusting the Windows or Mac input volume in tandem. With the analog knob you basically have to adjust the speaker volume and then you have a second set of controls on your PC/Mac to adjust the input volume.

    Are the speakers able to connect to two devices (say using usb c for one and 3.5mm cable for the other)?
    If so will the speaker be able to automatically detect the input device?

    • @ichd383
      @ichd383  11 месяцев назад +2

      So I did some testing with my laptop through Aux. They do seem to detect the signal from the Aux and switch inputs. I dont think this really makes sense for the other inputs as if you unplug USB C then the speakers will not have power and you need to manually switch to bluetooth. Either way - you can manually cycle through the inputs using the button that is closest to he volume knob. Each input has a LED "color", so for example blue for Bluetooth, purple for USB, and green for Aux.

    • @ichd383

      Yes. On the right side of the main unit, there are two 3.5mm ports, one for headset and another for microphone in that you can use for zoom and such.

    If I use 3.5mm Aux input with USB C PD of 30W, would I get the 60W peak output?

    • @ichd383
      @ichd383  11 месяцев назад

      Pebble Pro peak power is up to 20W. You will get that full rating if you use a AUX + 30W USBC PD.

    • @BlueTenorSax
      @BlueTenorSax 11 месяцев назад +2

      @@ichd383 I just got this Pebble Pro. I use 30W UBC PD for all connections. I noticed the sound thru usb-c and bluetooth are punchier and more bass. And thru Aux, it's sounds less punchier. The sound thru USB-C and bluetooth are definitely better than AUX. Unfortunately I have to use Aux from my external monitor for my PS5 and it sounds flat. Do you observe the same thing?

    • @ichd383
      @ichd383  11 месяцев назад +2

      @@BlueTenorSax Interesting I have not tried cranking them through AUX - primarily used them in USBC and Bluetooth modes. It could very well be possible that they do not have a very good DAC to convert the Aux to Digital signal. Which tbh at this price range is pretty expected. Also possible that you have a defective unit.

    • @BlueTenorSax
      @BlueTenorSax 11 месяцев назад

      @@ichd383 i don't think it's defective. Just different inputs result in different sound. I find USBC > Bluetooth > Aux. Bluetooth sometimes has slight stuttering.

    • @ichd383
      @ichd383  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@BlueTenorSax I think that this makes sense as each input would be a different way of transmitting audio and would technically sound different when reproduced.

    Its hard to tell the difference in sound through a video.... to me the V3 sound better lolll... I just bought the V3 for 40 bucks...and the Pro are double the price...is it really worth upgrading ? I feel like the sound can't be 2 times better....or are they? because if you think its worth it..I would send theV3 back for the pro..
    Update.... Got the pros..and when you plug them in with the 30W wall plug it sound SOOOO much better... I love EDM music..and it makes a world of Difference!!
