Thanks for doing the sound quality comparison at the end, it makes deciding which speaker to buy very quick !
Sound signature of Pebbles is more natural!!

Hey if you see this, I’m looking at ordering these but not sure what exactly I need cable-wise…. I ordered a 30W PD adaptor like they said but what else do I need, like 1 usb-c cable for each speaker??
How does it compare to the Nanit Pro? What would you ultimately go with?
I did not try the Nanit but I liked the fact that this monitor actually came with a standalone screen vs only relying on tablets/phones (though you still have that option)
@ Thank you! 🙏
I would say the pebel pros sound better. The g2000s are trying to output to low of frequencies for the driver size which is causing the mid range to be recessed while deep notes are playing. I noticed this on other videos for the g2000s vocals would recess while bass notes play. The pebels are better tuned and do not do this.
Why the pros only comes in dark green?
How did these compare to the pros next to them?
Bro thoughts about v3 over this SE?
Also does this only comes with usb c cause my current pc only have usb a
@@fortunewilliamledesm9559 Check out the chart @ 0:17 - The pebble SE use USB C for POWER only. The sound will come across on the audio jack separately. The Pebble v3 will send sound + power through USB C, add in Bluetooth and also have slightly larger drivers.
Straight up the random audio stuff from the edifiers is a complete deal breaker lmfao I expect that from my shitty two bit car Bluetooth adapter not speakers
Creative it is, I was debating myself on which one to choose since they have a close range price, Preebles are currently cheaper on Amazon, thanks for the video bud
Are they same with V1? I bought V2 today because I don't need Bluetooth and V3 is a lot expensive here. V1 and V2 is only 2 USD diff due to promotion. So, i go with V2 for my laptop speaker replacement which is ROG scar with 4 speakers. Big improvement compare to laptop speakers no matter how many they are.
Agreed any external speaker is better than what is in the laptop. I would expect the SEs to be slightly worse sound wise vs the V2s because they have less power.
Thanks for the review!
Pebble wins..that annoying announces and sound in the edifier are atrociuos.
For me clear winner Edifier but Creative Pebble Pro held its own against the larger Logitech...
I never got why some speakers play a sound when you turn them on, so annoying
Novelty, low end speakers. I was really convinced on getting the edifiers until I heard that obnoxious car engine sound effect 😂
@@jonathangonzalez5474 Nubert has no weird sound and its even possible to disable auto standby.
The Pros sounded way better when you compared them at the end. Like way way better, particularly from a clarity standpoint. I was gonna get a set of clean looking white V3's, but this video prompted me to go for the Pro's (even though I hate the green). I just bought a refurbished pair of Pro's off amazon and I get them tomorrow. I went for refurbished to keep things budget friendly, and Refurb ones only cost me 5 dollars more than the V3's new. I hope they work properly 😬
let me know how you like them! i am enjoying mine a lot
nice speakers, but why did they only come in this green?
I wish they came in white. I almost got the V3's for the white color, but this video changed my mind after hearing how much better the Pros sound.
agreed - its a weird design choice
Do you have a voice or sound to indicate mode change on G2000 ?
no sorry about that
Bro needs to do a review of a half way decent microphone 😂 but good video man!
working on it!
These two were the same price in my country, which one would you recommend buying?
i would prolly go for the Pebble Pros as I think they are more balanced
The G2000s suck they are the worst speakers I have tried. The Klipsch Pro medias blow them away.
Yeah agreed! but another class of speaker as its so much more expensive
quick question, when the pebble pro was tested, was the additional usb-c(PD) utilized or just the usb-c? just wondering. Thanks.
yup used the extra PD input
@@ichd383 ah i see, thanks :)
sir, you need a better microphone. may I suggest getting a blue yeti microphone or something similar
working on it!
Pebble wins
Edifier 💯 wins
does the edifier g2000 have a volume knob control ?
If the difference can be heard like that via cell phone, I can imagine what the difference sounds like in person.
Thanks for the short and concise video, much appreciated. Too many people with 10-15 minutes videos that are waaaay too long!
That startup sound is cringe. I'm between some form of Pebbles, G2000 and Audioengine A1. I like the tweeter on the A1, the price on the Pebble (already have a pair in use elsewhere), and other than that stupid noise the G2000 probably is the best overall balance of price/performance for a basic desktop setup where you use headphones most of the time.
Edifier sounds sooo clean , I was about to buy the new pebble x plus I might still do cos I can use anker battery to power those speakers and a sub which is insane setup for the price but might return it tho if it doesn't sound as clean as Edifier, plus Edifier drivers are much larger
so basically u need 4 usd type c to fully powered those little minions to 20w both.
Edifier G2000 wins this one
I picked up the Logitech Z207, seriously disappointed in Logitech. The sound muddy, bland, no bass, treble tones are muted. Basically, don't waste your money. Keep looking around.
Creative Pebble Pro звучат лучше
Creative 20 w Logitech 10w.. Only Creative t20
Ever since the days of the venerable cambridge soundworks FPS1000 CREATIVE have made some really good speakers, i actually own a set of FPS1000 thats over 20y old STILL working as day one, i have a later set with a wood sub thats over 15yo ans also still works to this day
Thank you for the video! One of the differences you mentioned is the analog vs digital volume knob. What are the pros and cons of each one? What might be the reason to make Pro version with digital knob? Does it affect sound quality?
So a digital knob means that when you adjust the speaker volume you are also adjusting the Windows or Mac input volume in tandem. With the analog knob you basically have to adjust the speaker volume and then you have a second set of controls on your PC/Mac to adjust the input volume.
Those who love to see dust crowding on your exposed speaker cones, please proceed 😅 to buy them.
Canned air or an electric micro blower/vac seems to keep mine clean just fine.
great comparison, thank you. shame they don't make the pros in white
I am now confused - Z207 in Canada has Bluetooth connectivity too. And I just want to ask, the Pebble Pro - does audio signal and power comes from one USB cable, or has to be two?
From my own research and reading the manual, the Pebble Pro will work fine with either 10W supplied to USB-A (Supplied adapter) or Type C connector. There's a separate USB-C port that requires 30W PD (Power Delivery) power source in order to push the speaker to it's maximum potential. So you can use only the USB-C for both audio source and power input (10W capable). Plug in an 30W capable PD charger to the extra USB-C power port for better audio quality (?) and bass. I've just ordered the Pebble Pro. Should be arriving soon. I have a Lenovo Legion laptop with a USB-C port capable of 15W charging. So Once it arrive I will test it out. I'm not sure if most laptop's USB-C port is capable of supplying 10W+ of PD power or not. I'm guessing that if you decide to use USB-A then your option is to connect it to a 10W capable power bank or charger while the audio is supplied through the AUX port (You need 2 cables). As far as I'm aware of USB 2.0 is capable of supplying around 2.5W while 3.0 is capable of supplying around 4.5W only. Also I recall a YT review mentioning that the audio is worse with AUX input. This is understandable as I also recall some BT headphone reviews also mentioned similar issue. If you use AUX port then analog audio is probably channeled directly to the speakers whereas if you use the USB-C port then digital audio is passed to the speaker's DSP for enhancement and then amplified through the speakers.
I finally pushed myself to make some clarification and updates after using this speaker for months. Hopefully I didn't make mistake as I've only briefly tried something and I could of have forgotten and made mistake. Feel free to correct me. You can still supply audio and power through USB-A to Type C connector. The sound may not be adequate due to limited power. I just tested if it works or not. Have not given some listening time. Due to the angled driver. You need to sit close and be in direct path of the drivers to experience the full quality sound. For those of lesser ears(?) it probably won't matter. Just compare it to be similar to whether you're plugging in 30W extra PD power or not. I'm no audiophile but plugging in 30W PD power seems to increase the loudness slightly and increase the bass. Except for watching action movies and certain genres of music I prefer not to have the increased bass. I'm not a bass head. Type C power cables rated for higher powers will not work. I'm guessing those cables supporting over 60W-65W and/or with e-marker chips. I've a few cables rated for 100W and they wouldn't work. This is for when plugging into the standard Type C port in the speaker for audio and power. I don't recall if I've tested the 30W PD port. No comment on the Bluetooth feature since I've never needed it until now. So I've yet to test. Oh and if you want a table lamp for when no laptop/PC are connected to the speaker. You can leave your 30W PD power plugged in and the speaker will light up.
I think the Pebbles are like the Amazon Basics series of speakers requiring a USB-A cord for power only. A separate Aux cord handles the audio transfer. But a separate USB-C cord can handle both power and audio at the same time if designed well enough.
I hate the Pros dont come in white. I dont want to buy the V3 for the color but the black throws off my setup 😞
ugh right? wouldnt even be complaining if the v3s didnt come in white but here we are
I've owned the Z207 for years, the best way to get mileage off of it is by using a software EQ, and not to have the volume knob too high (I keep it at 10 o'clock). However all Pebble models are not only recent, but evidently offer much better audio quality, especially the Pebble Pro, so I'd recommend either V3 or Pros anytime over Z207 or less from Logitech.
Logitech ones underwater shit
Hey man..please can you check in your creative app - using prbble pro via USB..what is the audio quality on playback?..I have only one option and it is 16bit/48khz and cannot set anything else..no one in any review mentions that..this is lower than using BT..
Great video...Thanks for that.
Its hard to tell the difference in sound through a video.... to me the V3 sound better lolll... I just bought the V3 for 40 bucks...and the Pro are double the price...is it really worth upgrading ? I feel like the sound can't be 2 times better....or are they? because if you think its worth it..I would send theV3 back for the pro.. Update.... Got the pros..and when you plug them in with the 30W wall plug it sound SOOOO much better... I love EDM music..and it makes a world of Difference!!
Buyer's remorse is a helluva thing 😂
@@dreadlock17 I actually bought the Pro..and in person...they are 100 times better...hhahaha..but it is true..its hard to hear the difference in this video!..
Happy that you like them!
I kind of wish you compared the pebble pro to the g2000 from edifier being the same size almost
Same size but huge price difference. I think he is comparing budget speakers. $10 to $50 range. Where is the g2000 edifier is in the $100 range. It's interesting to note that Logitech Z207 and Logitech Z200 computer speakers are being over charged. I notice people saying they bought them for $20 to $25 when they came out. Now they raised the price to $60. I wanted one. But the problem is if I'm going to spend $60 for speakers (just $20 speakers in the first place!) than I might as well get a $100 high quality pair.
There is a sound test g2000 and pebble V3 on RUclips.
Hey Dear can you tell me which one is best Between Pebbles 2.0 or Pebbles v3. And what about the Bass , how much has bass?? Please tell me.
Thanks for the video! What's more interesting is the comparison between Pebble Pro or Pebble Plus 2.1? Because it's quite predictable that the Pebble Pro has better sound than the V3.
