Watch out for the sabertooth squirrels, they run in prides and can strip you down to bare bones in 30 minutes.

I go fishing, hunting in gold areas in NE victoria Australia so I think I’ll start doing some panning and river sluicing instead of just drinking beers at camp 😂

I’m from the same area as Chris in Australia and it’s very cold a lot of the year, the water stays particularly cold. You would need good (expensive) equipment I imagine. It’s probably just easier to stick with what you’re good at rather than branching out to much.

Funny to me that Chris is excited about seeing a squirrel. Being from an area where you see squirrels every day, you kind of take for granted that not everyone has that experience.

I came across your channel by chance the other day and subscribed after watching a few videos the went to Chrises channel and did the same, i was into prospecting when i was young, but just mainly panning the creeks around warrandyte Melbourne. A couple of years ago i almost took it up again but living to far from the closest gold fields made it difficult so i took up kayak fishing instead, fishing being another lifetime passion lol love your antics keep it up👍

I wonder if that was the old crevice tool? Does the spoon have any markings on the back like "Sterling" or .800 or a ship anchor or a passant lion? All common markings for sterling silver, good gold thanks for sharing.
