It was just laying in a clear water stream with agates and other beauties. I didn't know much about geology then; I was nursing full time. Anyway, I really didn't know what I had until it disappeared off my display shelf when I noticed my jar wasn't there. Oh well. My current area in southeast Alabama has no gold that I'm aware of. It would be nice to sit on the bank and pan just to learn how.
