Kalgoorlie is a township in Australia known for producing massive gold nuggets and specimens although it’s not in the Pilbara region. Another township is Ballarat. There are countless stories of people finding kg sized nuggets just by metal detecting around there. Anyways loved the video and hopefully you find more monster nuggets in the future.

We prospected all over NZ in the “legal” fossicking areas (as sadly the majority of the good spots are technically illegal to go at due to the very strict frankly silly regulations) biggest pieces at the time we had found were maybe a 1/4 gram and then our one trip up on one of their claims and 2nd day find a 7.7 grammer beating our record 30 fold 😂🥳. Keep up the great work and fingers crossed more gold to come!

Biggest I ever got was probably around 0.08grams. Nice piece though, slot of 'character, very flat but almost a perfect 5 point star shape. I have noticed, the pieces keep getting bigger where you are. Maybe you will find a serious honker of a piece yet. Is there any 'truth' to the rumor that the closer you get to the 'source', the bigger the gold get's? Good luck in getting more!

You really need a handheld underwater metal detector. Then add a tool pocket to your wet suit in the firearm so you have your picker tools and tweezers with you, and maybe even punch a hole in them so you can attach a lanyard. this way you never lose them. Also getting a camera mount and placing a lead dive weight on it you can set down your go pro and adjust it for your workspace.
Super awesome Brother super happy for you I was curious when you're back in Canada are you guys allowed to use a hookah system for diving deeper or does that count as a motor if it's just a pump that pumps air so you don't have to keep coming backup for air but if you had one you'd do extremely well

I'm located in a sec tion of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of nothern california known as the motherload which dates back into the 1800's - early 1900's. This area was huge during the days of the gold rush. This area is notorious for its history of what's known as the Comstock load in the 1850's and beyond. We even still have mines here that have been shut down, gated off and protected One of them known as the Kennedy Mine that dives over 5000 ft deep. Crazy I know. There is still ALOT of gold in these mountains. The hardest part is finding an unclaimed area between Lake Tahoe and Sacramento, California. Does anyone know how to go about staking a claim and the steps to achieve it.? Thanks for the videos Pauly. Keep em coming.

You should try Australia. It has the largest gold reserves on the planet and some of the largest nuggets and reefs where discovered in Australia.
