Pauly, I'm totes jelly. I spent 7 glorious weeks in NZ when I was 26. It was like nowhere else I had ever been in my life. I left part of my soul there I think. I'd love to return some day, but, I'm 61 now, and that hasn't, so far happened.
Dude, make it happen, do it for yourself!! I've been there quite a few times, and I keep discovering different things and the people are still genuine Kiwi's , really friendly folks!
Yup. The place left an indelible mark on me. My GF wants to go as well. Heck, maybe get a job PT job at their new Radio Observatory (they didn't have one back in 1989).
I live in New Zealand. Whanganui which is a place of astounding beauty. I live in a suburb and am surrounded by hills, trees, bush, birds, and wild deer roam over my lawn each night. I can hear the call of the wild peacocks up the river a bit to. If (when!) You get back here put Whanganui on your list. We have lots of fantastic, beautiful beaches here to.
55years ago aged 10yo on a school trip from the North Island our class panned for gold Hokitika westcoast of NZ... So exciting we all took fragments in little virals home. Of course it it got lost.
Wish i was into prospecting when i was there visiting family many years ago. Just picked it up 1.5 yrs ago. Mission creek B.C. is where i usually go. Never had any guidance other than you and Dan. Thanks for all your tips and fun adventures. Love the creativity of your videos.
Nice for a return trip to New Zealand, can't wait to see what else you pull out of the river. I am waiting for the weather here to warm up so I can give it a try in some of the rivers in my state that are known to be in a gold belt. Stay safe Pauly, and see you on the next video.
It's never easy, even though it looks like it. Great finds Pauly. I had a 19.2 g day last year running my steam sluice, detecting and sucker pumping bed rock, nothing over 1g but lots good sized flakes. That site has given me some really nice returns for my effort. Keep up the good work mate, the harder you work the luckier you get .
I just had a crazy idea 🤔🤪 I've seen chefs use a metal mesh glove when cutting food up. Maybe this would work to protect your gloves from getting cut up on all the rocks you sift through.
DUDE! I just recently found your channel about a couple weeks ago and I'm ADICTED to your content. Your such a chill and relax guy and I love it. Keep up the gold work. see ya
Pauly, you are the most entertaining of all the gold prospectors on RUclips! As a fellow Canadian I appreciate your drive and the content you produce, too bad I am in Saskatchewan far from the gold lol.
Another amazing video Pauly. Been looking forward to seeing the New Zealand trip. Looks like you already got a good haul going on over there. This being a 3 day episode, and you're there for a whole month.......... Should be lots of candy for you to find (hopefully). Next thing you know.......... It'll be Pauly moves to NZ. 😃
Hey Pauly, I don't know if you know this or not but if you find gold, that means there could be more around. 😂 I'm tickled pink that you found some really nice pickers and nuggets! If I weren't disabled, I'd find a to beg someone's permission to allow me to wade in the creek and look for it. Isn't it amazing how watching gold prospectors on video still lights the gold fever we all have buried inside? 🤔😏🥴 Thank you for sharing your adventure in beautiful New Zealand. Blessings from Alabama ❤️
19 min and 40 seconds of heaven and some very nice candy 18 plus grams is sweet thanks guys for letting pauly come back to your AUSOME claim. I would save your share of the gold since it’s from New Zealand it’s that much more special. Looking forward to more from there. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
That was friken awesome pauly keep up the hard work it always pays off thanks for sharing your adventures love the new zealand videos hope you break last years records
Koolio ...i lived on the wild windy west coast .❤.looking at the mountains combing the Teramakou river...beautiful treasure every time u go to the river n follow to the the serpentine is great.hokitika too..the whole blimin south island actually 😅 ❤
Really enjoy your videos. Have been watching for about 4 or more years. And I plan on watching more. I just checked it has been just over 5 years with the episode "Exploring Above the Gold Waterfall!."
I’m watching in NZ. I’m enjoying the same weather and delighted that you love visiting here. I get so much pleasure seeing you do so well from your sniping. I calculated that you made about NZ$1800 from the trip. That’s fantastic. I hope you do even better in the future. 😊 What would I do with the gold? I’d love to say something altruistic and wonderful, but gold is flashy and personal. I’d have it made into something beautiful with NZ pounamu to give each to my son and daughter. Like a pendant. Or statuette. Love your videos.
I suggest that you get a small gardeners shovel. You can get them for just a few dollars and they only weigh a pound or so. It will save your gloves and hands a lot of wear.
Legand good stuff wish i had gold fever like you had a try in central north island found nothing and got bruised toes frome walking up the river kicking rocks by acedent for 8 hours panning
My OCD would keep telling me that there was gold under the rock I just swam past. I wouldn't move more than a few feet in an entire day. The creek would reroute itself into a completely different branch and create a new creek. They'd have to call it Joe's Creek and I'd have a lifetime blanket claim on it. Or not.
Oy, I wish I could have a crack at snipping, but, in my physical disposition, (getting into those remote areas), is highly unlikely. But, it's still amazing to watch you succeed in those spots. Unfortunately, I live in an area, that has very little free areas to play in. Perhaps one day.
Would love to see you forge some of your gild into jewelry pieces, i thi k that woukd a really cool thing you could make a whole series of on your channel. One week or so a sniping video, the next week or so is you making cool little things with it. Like a gold paperclip or something🎉
Pauly..I say 'right-meow' too!😊 Love your adventures! Im an adventure treasure hunter as well! Would love to meet up with you one day! (I have a first cousin who lives on Vancouver Island!)
What would you do with the gold? Also, more New Zealand videos on the way! 🇳🇿💛😁
I'd strum a few riffs with the guitar pick, and toss the boomarang looking one in my pocket 🎸🪃
I mine gold for a living. Soooo my answer is Sell it 😂😂😂 save the 2 nicest pieces
I'd put it with the rest of my gold.
Give to it the claim owners:)!!! Rex n darrin .
Curious what you do when you find hazardous material like chunks of lead and mercury-coated gold. Have you ever done a video about this?
Pauly, I'm totes jelly. I spent 7 glorious weeks in NZ when I was 26. It was like nowhere else I had ever been in my life. I left part of my soul there I think. I'd love to return some day, but, I'm 61 now, and that hasn't, so far happened.
I hope you get to come back here some day soon!
