Jennifer Ledger's voice is literally perfect. I highly recommend also listening to her solo stuff. It's really good. Her albums go by "Ledger".
She sings up in her nose too much. It oddly works for that song but I would be disinterested in hearing a solo album. Not a bad singing voice but "perfect?" You must not get out much.

This band is underrated and yet have held up and aged well and one of the best performances live you can see in your life. Incredible. My kids jam to them so hard since they were very young. The first time I ever heard one of their songs was when I was on a trip with my church and all the guys were singing along to "Monster" and when I got back home, I looked them up; I've been listening to their music ever since.
I've listened to Skillet since 2010; in fact this is the first I've ever heard by them and I just love them! They play and sing with their hearts and sound great.

I saw Skillet perform so many times before they crossed over to mainstream. They are one of the reasons I started taking Christian Rock/metal seriously and led me to discovering bands like Underoath, Mewithoutyou, Emery, etc. They ALWAYS put on an awesome show.

But really Jen has so much stamina in playing drums and managing the vocals🔥🔥
and it's not just harmonizing or backing for some effect. She's co-lead on a bunch of songs and just nails it. Pretty damn impressive
