Trait of BMW's and their 50/50 weight balance. They squat on launch, and only lose traction (burnout time) in Sport+ mode with all traction controls turned off. Plus he's got his rear tire deflated properly, notice how it chunks and grips just like a dragster tire.

Could you set up a 2nd and third camera, at around the 1000' mark, one pointing towards the starting line, one pointing at the finish line, to get some footage of the cars on the back half? Two simple point and shoots, doesn't have to be an DSLR. For those 1/2 mile events, put a camera near the scoreboard/display to catch the times, and a different perspective.... just a thought!

dilsher12 the pistons and rods have been upgraded. Also 800ftlb wheel of torque with a good clutch upgrade is fine on the M5 at that level and will be even better on a 600lbs lighter car. 👍

900whp at 7000rpm, 800ft/lbs tq at 4600rpm.

Not quite. An 880WHP 720S still on street legal tires hits the 1/8th mile in 5.8 - 5.9 seconds, traps 155 - 160mph and will do high 8's/flat 9's.
