Thank you ..that was a great reaction...I think that I know what you mean...the word you’re looking for is flawless...that’s the kind of performance you get from Queen every time.....each time you hear one of their songs, they’ve switched it up....which is brilliant..each band member is amazing at their craft...Happy Birthday Freddie on the 5th of September❤️🤩
This is my favourite Queen song though many others are close. Freddie loved Aretha, as Brian said "Freddie would like to have been Aretha". She inspired this. Hope you do more Queen.
Freddie always said that Somebody to Love was his all time favorite Queen song. Even though I love all Queen songs, I have to agree with Freddie on this one. I never get tired of hearing any version of STL.
Love the studio version & every live version that exists!! So thank you!! Freddie wrote this song inspired by Aretha Franklin, his favorite female vocalist! That’s why there’s a Gospel feel to it! Love the layered harmonies! The song was covered by Brittany Murphy in the animated film “Happy Feet”. Thank you for your reaction! MARCH OF THE BLACK QUEEN … Please!
When you listen to the studio version you hear all the harmonies and intricacies. I love live Queen, but with some songs you gotta hear the studio version too.
Its Queen and its beautiful, both versions👑👑👑👑 you are right about band music, they were 4 creative guys who together formed the best and longest band ever💛
Thanks, Sheed - yes, this was the original arrangement - harmonies crazy! Inspired by Aretha Franklin... I still like the live one, though... lol.. and I agree with what you say about the BAND - I appreciate that, because sometimes people are so focused on Freddie (with reason) they forget the contributions of the entire group -- every one of them was extraordinarily talented - not just on instruments, but song-writing, singing, stage presence.. thanks so much!
Freddie Mercury got the idea from Aretha Franklin, because he was a big fan of her he even want me to do a song with her. I think the next one song you should do by Queen is “Love of my life“ or White Queen, because Freddie play’s his heart out on that.
Thanks for your reaction & your thoughts. Queen's studio recordings in early days, had lovely harmonies & multi-layering hard to reproduce in concert. (But Freddie sure made up for it in concerts, didn't he)? Queen is a wonderful band on albums. Queen is an awesome LIVE band. They had genuine musical talent. And each of them got to shine on stage.
The song was recorded by the same multilayering technic as they did it in the case of Bohemian Rhapsody. Pls, check out Spread Your Wings, the official video.
The live version is more exciting and it rocks harder, but the studio version has fuller harmonies and the glam rock stage costumes are outrageous. Both are great.

when i saw bohemiam rhapsody at movies i was only one humming and tapping my feet along to the songs while the rest were quite
They were a very tight unit, all essential. They make you smile, rock & roll is about having fun!

Great, soulfull reaction. Queen is a band you can really get into on all levels and in all ways.
I understand completely, Sheed! TY for your reaction

It reminds me of church
Have great harmony.
2:50 yess totally understand wym
Check out cool cat by queen
Like the input….please check out Cool Cat, very smooth, Freddie sings the whole song in falsetto. I really think you would like it.
They were all great that’s why they all wrote a # 1 hit. I don’t think Roger and John got the credit they deserve!
The live versions are better, in my opinion.
