They act like adults aren't sitting around watching anime and Marvel while eating lucky charms and drinking flavored beer.
They use cartoon characters on the packages of edibles, as well as giving the actual plants cute, colorful packages with rainbows, sponge bob, Rick &Morty, everything you can think of...candy. Trix cereal,
Fruit loops, then they make posters, drop the bags in the street, cover telephone poles with them...have them displayed low on shelving, glass shelves..the packages look iridescent, they are foil, and sometimes holographic...kinda look like capri sun, with cool images on them. It is obviously directed at kids. It is also to adults...over here on pelham pkway they even have head shops with Rick and Morty signage, Called Rick lost morty or something (not sure)...and Evil ghost...they openly sell on the street and families, yes families will go up and look at all the products for sale...many young, very little children, led by their parents who openly use daily. It is common. I have seen them bring six, 7,8 yr old kids up to the tables to shop for the products. It is disgusting. Google pelham pkwy and white plains road, look at the pictures of Evil Ghost and the Rick and Morty shop at Lydig and Pelham pkwy. Nobody can tell me this stuff is not directly targeting children and minors, teens...watch them have developmental issues now, use damages your brain...especially young kids. They will be stunted emotionally, and lose like 8 or more IQ points...the goal is $, and a demonic agenda to sedate and drop the overall populations ability to think clearly, it lowers IQ, watch an entire generation lose 10 IQ points...will definitely have long term consequences

It’s it that it’s the fact that they use common names like sour patch kids Oreos skittles etc and they leave the names in the packaging so at first look you may think (even an adult)it’s really candy. I love edibles and pot but the way they market it is so fukn horrible.

She is accurate, but the issue is those above, not the policewoman. The MANY locations they shut down overnight in Manhattan were all operating for months and most were in business for OVER A YEAR+. The city and state gave them the go-ahead on some level or they could not have obtained a LEASE FOR THE COMMERCIAL SPACE from the LANDLORD. Many of these places--not this type of underground type sale but OBVIOUS 21+ only allowed inside etc--were PROMISED licenses and the regulating bodies FAILED. They cost everyone a ton of $$$$$$$$$. Stores that had been open without issue for nearly three years are suddenly shuttered and YOU WANT ME TO BELIEVE that they NEVER ONCE encountered anyone from the city admin? That NOT ONE landlord went over the legality of the commercial enterprise and received assurance from the city or state officials that it was okay? I cannot believe that is true. It is not true or the entire city government should quit TODAY. what a farce 1:52

THIS IS NOT being marketed to children. Just because edibles--which also tend to COST MORE MONEY--have bright packaging and cannabis-infused cereal looks a certain way does not mean they actively PROMOTE to kids. When was the last time a 13 year old went out and bought a $60 box of cereal? NEVER. Besides, the fact that all these businesses got an implied GO-AHEAD which is why the landlords LEASED THE SPACE TO THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE bc you need some form of documentation to present, and the STATE KNEW about the MASSIVE amounts of product they encouraged these distribution operations and growth operations in NY State to create only to prevent them from off-loading their products because they FAILED to follow through on the promises they GAVE THE BUSINESSSES. This is not about this store or group of stores which is clearly a bit different, but about stores which opened and CLEARLY advertised 21+ only and that they sold marijuana and there was no problem, or so it seemed... oh wait, they then got raided after being given the go-ahead by the STATE AND CITY so they could obtain the LEASE and then they get SHUT DOWN and now are out of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. this is a mess and the vacant spots that once held these stores WERE VACANT BEFOREHAND and had NO BUSINESSES WILLING TO PAY FOR THE SPACE OTHER THAN THOSE ANTICIPATING THE GROWTH OF LEGAL MARIJUANA IN NYC. The city and the state have failed the entire marketplace here. I now and calling up my old dealer. If that's what they want, okay
