I strongly feel they just performed themselves right into the HOF!!! You can’t have the careers they’ve all had & then give this AMAZING performance & not be acknowledged themselves with the highest honor of the music industry!! Another great performance!!!

New Edition is RnB black excellence from my Era and they brought me right back to my childhood (with this performance) when my parent's played their Era's RnB music The Spinners, Earth, Wind & Fire, Blue Magic, Ray, Goodman & Brown, The Stylistics, Sly & The Family Stone and my all time fav The Whispers. There are countless RnB groups whose music my parent's played during my childhood and I'm forever grateful 🙏 ❤🍫👑🖋🎤🔥😌✌.

I love New Edition! What a beautiful tribute to the Spinners. The Spinners so deserve this. I don't care how old you are, or what color you are, you know their songs. The Spinners are a very important part of the fabric of American music. I wish the original members were alive to see this tribute. They would be so proud. Well done, New Edition.
the only living original member Henry Fambrough along with John Edwards (member from 1977 to 2000 - a stoke that left him paralyzed forced him into retire) were there in the audience to see it

CONGRATULATIONS I’ve said this for YEARS. It’s utter sweet because after 19 #1 hits they didn’t receive not even one Grammy, make it make sense. I’m thankful to have enjoyed all their songs and their music will forever be on my playlist.
You are right, it will never make sense but NE has stood the test of time and they will be always be remembered along with the other greats. All these years later they still deliver perfection and I could not be more proud of Bobby who has went through Hell and back!

I could hardly see the screen for the HAPPY tears! I am 64 and all I could think was who else could do this??!! NE is all we have left of REAL R&B music!! Young people aren't singing and dancing together any more!! I LOVE that they included the Soul Train dancers. I'm going on the Soul Train cruise in January and I can't wait💃💃🤗🤗
They did a 2 for 1 with the last song. Don Cornelius was also inducted at this ceremony. Immediately after this performance they played a video tribute to Don.

Ralph always always put on an amazing show.
That’s my generation displaying excellence. I remember being a young man listening to my grandmother play this group on her record player Saturday mornings. Now, those were good times!!! Temptations, The O ‘Jays, The Whispers, etc. NE are the best performers along side The Jackson’s to grace the stage.
I never get tired of seeing New Edition performance! Always keep me in memory of the Jackson Five and Jacksons!
NE in my opinion has always had some of the best choreography of all time. Thanks to Brooke Payne; these guys are still tearing the stage up.
Some of my favorite numbers are their dance moves on "If It Isn't Love" and their performance of "Not My Kinda Girl" on Soul Train.

How are these guys not in the Rock& Roll Hall of Fame? They just announced the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees. No New Edition, but they inducted A Tribe Called Quest. Really!! They only had 5 top10 hits. New Edition has 17 top 10 hits.

What video were you watching? He was so out of breath he could barely breathe! Surprisingly his voice was better than Gill, who at one point turned the mic towards the audience, so they could fill in for him. Sad, really.
Bobby is older and heavier than the other NE members. He did good and kept up the dance choreography. His singing voice was great, better than Gill.

It's New Edition's time. There is no way in hell for them not to be inducted at this point. It's good to see Ricky get his shine. Bobby did well too. Yes, he needs to lose some weight and get his stamina/energy back, but after all he's been through, it's a true blessing that he's still alive. Glad to see this brother seeming to find peace and purpose now. NE in the RRHOF, hopefully coming soon!

All I can say is this is the best tribute by an 80s to 2000 group of all time the Spinners were top in their time best music and choreography they had while New Edition just top it as well.
That's the most I've seen Bobby dance in a while, lol, great tribute!

Thank you for posting this. I watched it live on Disney+ and couldn’t stop smiling. It’s something special to see black men of your generation celebrate black men of another generation. I kept saying ‘come on black man’. They looked good, the choreography was straight fire 🔥, everyone had a part and it was just on point. This video captured the rest of what wasn’t captured on tv. Since Friday I know I’ve watched this on Disney at least five times and this video more. Again, thank you❤️
